I ordered take out and the Manager herself took my order. I am gluten sensitive with an onion allergy. I had the pull chicken enchiladas and was able to eat with no issues. Food was delicious!

First let me say that I have been eating here for years! We come to the vineyard every year for a week and sharkys has been a tradition. Never again. We know wait staff is hard to get now. Clearly they are having staff from another country. That’s ask typical for MV. However. THey no longer are safe. Beware. Chips not safe. Then manager came over to show us the corn tortillas. They changed brand and now not safe. Doesn’t say gf and says shared facility. We had celiac and 2 with severe anaphylactic seafood allergy. All unsafe to have chips. All ordered very carefully and ALL came with a side of the chips! We told them it was not ok and the waiter said “ it’s on the side”. And……. The food was terrible. It’s never been gourmet but always was edible. The pulled chicken was soooooooooo salty. The service was awful which again we can forgive in these times ( they add 20%) to our bill for party of 6. But again BEWARE!!!!

Good food, wait staff very knowledgeable about Celiac. Chips are gluten free but in shared fryer so not celiac-safe. Burrito bowl with chicken was huge and flavorful!

We went here for drinks and chips & guac. The guac didn’t taste super fresh but it was a generous amount and the chips & pico de Gallo were great. Not sure how the chips are made but I did not get sick from them, and I have celiac.

Had a Mexican Rice Bowl - it was in the corner of the menu, and easy to miss. Tasted great, and I felt fine after.

Knowledgeable staff, great enchiladas. Didn't have any symptoms.

Manager came right over and explained everything. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Manager had a shellfish allergy and was super sensitive to all our dietary restrictions.
Yes
All these reviews have said that they have gf chips they don’t. They do have excellent gf chicken enchiladas. I was very happy with the enchiladas but there are no gf chips.
Yes
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to tell us all of our gluten free options. They have a dedicated frier to make their gluten free tortilla chips. Their nachos were incredible! I highly recommend. They can also make tacos and some other items gluten free. Great drinks too!
Yes
They do. It have a dedicated dryer and they dry all their corn chips even those for simple chips and salsa. Pretty much limited to tacos only. Wait staff was helpful and knowledgeable but very limited offerings. Not sure if prior reviewers we given bad info or if the restaurant became more knowledgeable. I would not recommend unless you are with a party that must have Mexican and you like tacos
Gluten free chips are available for the nachos! Yum!
Waited 30 minutes for a gluten-free beer then they realize they didn't have anymore and then the dish that I ordered they realize that it wasn't gluten-free and could not be made gluten-free so after waiting 40 minutes we ran for the ferry boat

Staff was knowledgeable. Food was pretty good. Overall, a safe bet.
Yay a place that can accommodate me and the food is fantastic!!!!
Food was ok. They had gluten free corn tortillas. Staff was somewhat knowledgeable.

Although there is no GF menu, just about everything is safe aside from the flour tortillas. Outstanding food and service and always a great place to hangout, even for families. Always one of our favorite spots on the Vineyard!
Sharky's Cantina is one of the more casual, cheaper restaurants on the island. With an extensive margarita menu and tons of corn-based tortilla options, Sharky's is easy to navigate for the gluten-free patron and just a fun place to go for a good time.
