Shatley Springs

The staff didn't appear to be certain of what items they have that are gluten free. We were told that "You should be fine" when we asked what options were available and that the whole menu should be good to eat. They are serving items like Fried Chicken and Chicken Pie. We came during the COVID pandemic so they may of only had a limited menu

We called ahead and spoke with Suzanne about gluten free items for my celiac granddaughter. She was very knowledgeable of their menu items. When we arrived the waitress was not as knowledgeable but did go back and talk to the kitchen staff about changing gloves and verifying some menu items. We ordered the cheese burger with a GF bun for my granddaughter and I had the grilled chicken with GF sides. I’m not celiac only gluten sensitive. Both meals were good. We chose this location as others in our party wanted a traditional southern meal which they were able to have, too.
