Several items on the menu are listed as being able to be made GF, but after talking to the waiter learned are not celiac safe due to cross contamination. For instance all noodles are boiled in the same water. The waiter was extremely helpful in answering questions and getting clarification from the kitchen. I got the VVG Don. He personally poured tamari sauce straight from the main container to avoid cross contamination and made sure they changed gloves and used clean utensils to prepare my food. I did not get sick, but wouldn't have risked it if the server hadn't been so helpful which I appreciated. My meal was just OK and it was disappointing to really only have 1 menu option. If you have celiac I would not recommend just because the menu is misleading and it took a lot of effort on everyone's part to manage figuring out a "safe" option.

I really liked the atmosphere here. Not a huge amount of options. I only had lunch and stuck with a roll. The waiter did say that the vegetarian gf options were safer because anything with meat could be cross contaminated. This is not a dedicated facility.

I got the Shoyo ramen which is marked Gluten Free. I still ended up having a reaction.

One of our favorite restaurants in town. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious casual Japanese fare, and GF options clearly marked on the menu - including GF ramen! Itadakimasu!
