Disclaimer: Shorewood is a private club and I'm not sure if they allow non-members to dine without a member. Hours are a bit different for winter and summer months. They are not open for dinner on Saturday or Sunday, and occasionally the dining room is closed for private events or tournament dinners. The point is, call before just showing up to make sure you'll be able to dine when you think.
Shorewood just had a new chef, Rich Semonian, who has already done a great job overhauling things. Previously maybe one or two items could be modified to be gluten & dairy free, but never were items actually marked on the menu. Now there are actually 3 starters, 3 salads, 4 entrees, and 1 dessert labeled GF on the menu. No further considerations are listed, but that's already a huge improvement.
Being a country club that prides itself on good service and accommodating patrons, the kitchen and staff are very interested in hearing your needs (ex: no gluten or dairy,) and with Rich at the helm, they seem very willing to make modifications.
Everything we had was excellent (gluten free and otherwise) and we're looking forward to trying out more of Rich's creations.
