On our cross-country trip, we got takeout. I called first to ask a question, and they were very nice. I had shrimp tacos, which were pretty good. I'd order something else next time, but that's just me. I had no issues.

Such a quaint restaurant! Indoor and outdoor seating. The folks were knowledgeable about gluten free. There is A gluten free menu. I had the lunch special of boiled shrimp, coleslaw and spicy red potatoes. JUST DELISH! I am recommending it highly!!!

When I lived in Texas 16 years ago, this was my favorite place to eat in Galveston. The food is delicious! I was so pleased to see that they have a GF menu now. I had the boiled shrimp tacos w corn tortillas, and they were very good. If you're in Galveston looking for very casual dining and good food, this is a great choice.

They have a GF menu hanging above the register, food is delicious for GF or not. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Outside is seating area is a little rustic... don’t wear your white dress :). Staff is friendly, prices are ok.

They were great and the food was amazing too! My son got grilled chicken with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. We had blackened shrimp and blackened catfish. We even had creme brûlée. None of us got sick. This was one of the best places we ate at while in Galveston for 5 days.

Definitely not gluten free. Everything is cooked in the same frier, same grill, and seasonings have gluten (this is what they told us). We didn't even risk it.

best shrimp tacos ever! my boyfriend ordered while was I'm the restroom and accidently ordered seasoned fries. I mentioned they didn't look gluten free when they showed up to the table. she confirmed that the seasons fries he ordered we're meet but then brought me a side of plain gluten free fries, no charge. food was great, price right, and atmosphere casual.

The gluten free menu is posted. Everything is made together in a small kitchen. I had the shrimp tacos, which were very, very good. And then I got sicker than I had been in a long time. Not good while on vacation.

My shrimp tacos were very good. The menu was clearly marked. Did not get sick. Don't expect anything fancy.

Pretty good selection. All menu items that are GF are noted GF on the regular menu. The broiled snapper was great. My wife who has Celiacs had the grilled shrimp. Didn't make her sick.
