I wish I could recommend this diner, but my experience wasn’t great. I stressed that I needed my food to be gluten free and ordered the turkey platter. When it came out, I thought the bread didn’t look right. Glad I said something to the waiter, as they gave me the wrong bread. The staff were nice and apologetic, and they remade my plate. However, if I hadn’t noticed I would have gotten very sick. Food was good but not worth the risk. The Red Robin across the street felt much safer than this place. I’ll provide another updated review if I try this diner again. Only giving two stars because the staff was nice and the food was good.

I’d say some of the staff is knowledgeable about celiac, what is truly gf and about the issue of cross contamination. They really try and they listen. I’ve even had a couple conversations with the manager where she was very helpful and interested in how they were doing and what could help. I’ts good food and service. You will need to clearly communicate your needs not just rely on the gf menu listings. They have some tasty gf items on the menu and if you are clear with the servers about your needs they are great about making sure you have your food as you need it. I’ve eaten here a number of times—never got sick or felt bad afterwards.

This diner was a great find! So many gf options. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and checked on an item she wasn’t sure about. Our group of 4 are all gluten intolerant and had no issues afterward. I had the turkey platter and the rest had burgers on gf buns.

My daughter's and I had a great experience at Silver Diner in Waldorf. Great atmosphere, great staff. Only downside is there fryer is shared so no fries to go with our burgers. We had side salads instead which were tasty.
I ordered the Coconut French Toast and they were burnt. I won't be going back to the Waldorf location but the Greenbelt MD location is the best!
The menu is clearly marked GF for gluten free! I had the Mediterranean salad. It was good not reactions!
This place was amazing! I've never left a review but for this place I will! I had the coconut french toast with Carmel sauce and it was incredible! My husband had the gf mango stir fry (it's vegan) but he added chicken... it was sweet and spicy; so good! Also they have great service, wine, gf desserts, and great service! We will be going back!
This place was amazing! Our waiter Keron was so nice and knowledgeable, I had the paradise french toast, pork. sausage, and the brownie latte milk shake and it was all amazing. I was visiting from Missouri and will make it a point to come back every time I'm in the area. I am writing this a few hours after eating and have not gotten sick. I can't say enough how amazing our experience was!
I had the coconut crusted French Toast n it was wonderful!! The brownie milk shake is heaven. I didn't get sick n they are knowledgeable about gluten free.

The best gluten free dining option I've found in Southern Maryland. The staff is knowledgeable and well trained in cross contamination issues. The food is superb, and the options are limitless. They have GF pancakes and french toast on the menu ...
Flexitarian menu with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options listed on the regular menu. Highly recommended! There is a dedicated toaster for the gluten free Udi's bread at the Waldorf location.
Good variety of gluten free options.

I came here thanks to the reviews on this app. I got the power breakfast with (what I hope was!!!) GF toast. She verified that they have a separate toaster for the bread. But the bread stayed together so well, I'm just waiting for a reaction LOL! The power breakfast comes with sausage patties that are marked as GF. All in all, delicious!

I had a burger with fries. As you all know everyone’s allergies are different. The manager did note that there was a chance of cross contamination with the fries. Which is a standard warning everywhere. I’m usually able to eat fries at all of the fast food restaurants, never had a problem. However, I had a severe allergic reaction from their food. I’m guessing it was the fries. So, if you’re like me and you like a burger with your FRIES (for me the fries are the best part), you’ll want to skip this place. Also, the gluten free bun is tough and has a weird texture. On a positive note, the staff were all very friendly. I had great service.
