Hostess and server need training on the gluten free options. server told me anything in the fryer would be cross contaminated. When I showed her a review from this site saying that only rice flour was used in the fryer, she asked another employee and found out that the review was correct. the food was ok but not worth the hassle or the fear of getting incorrect information.

We LOVED this restaurant. We had chips, salsa, quest, rice and beans bowl, fried chicken sandwich and Mexican corn. Wow! All items that go in the fryer are made with rice flour. Most of the menu is GF. Ask for Annie.

Silver Queen is very knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and cross contamination.
Most of the menu items at Silver Queen are gluten free. The food is made fresh to order. The quality is excellent and the portions are generous. The Beef Brisket Nachos are fabulous! The brisket is so tender and the nachos are loaded with avocados, tomatoes, queso, cilantro, pico de gallo and sour cream. The Braised Pork Taco with pickled onions is packed with flavor. The Grilled Shrimp Taco Rice and Bean Bowl is incredible. The service at Silver Queen is very intentional. Everyone is so nice which makes the dining experience even better. I highly recommend this restaurant. Check out my review & photos of Silver Queen on my gluten free blog UnexpectedDiscoveries.com. I can’t wait to go back!
