They have a dedicated fryer and were knowledgeable about celiac disease. The food was fine and I didn’t get sick.

UPDATE: Feb 2024- delicious GF options. Fries, chicken tenders, wonderful knowledgeable staff!!!
UPDATE: we came back in March 2022. Nothing goes into the fryer with flour on it so the French fries are GF. Their GF hamburger bun is delicious. The wait staff is amazing and knowledgeable.
As a Celiac I have to be extra careful when I dine out. The menu clearly marks GF options and there are several (and not just salad). They do not fry any floured items in the fryer so their chips and French fries are not at risk of contamination. The wait staff are amazing, friendly, attentive, nice. I would definitely recommend eating here. I had the nachos and YUM!!!!

I had the nachos and they were great. When I asked the server about cross contamination, she told me that the owner has Celiac and that anything marked GF would be safe. She said the fryer is completely gluten free.

I’m an extreme celiac and had no reactions to gluten! I did not mention my milder allergy to soy and peanuts. I reacted to their homemade chips as I would a lower allergy. That was my fault. They must be made with soy or peanut oil. (I know my reaction was to the chips because I ate them as we traveled to our picnic lunch location) I ordered the smoked Turkey sandwich without cheese or sauce. It was very tasty. No reactions!

We had high hopes for this restaurant. We stopped here specifically based on reviews. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. Our server was sweet but completely clueless about celiac or allergies. He told us the fries were not safe. Then came back and said they were. At another point he came by and said all the fries were GF. Then came back and said they were out of GF buns. This left my celiac kiddo in tears and afraid to eat the food due to the server’s uncertainty. This is absolutely a training issue. They explained that they were short staffed but the service was awful. They put the wrong cheese on my daughter’s burger. Mine came without cheese. We asked to sub corn and coleslaw out for fries with the rib plate, but when it came out it had the corn and coleslaw. This is my first review I’ve written on here but I felt it was important to inform everyone for what you’re getting into if you visit this restaurant. We will not be back.

I can’t add much to what everyone else is saying f except to confirm it. This place is great! The ribs and chicken are superb, as is the bison burger (on a GF Bun, of course). The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable about Celiac’s.

I was on my way to Bend today and I needed some food, so I swung by this restaurant and I was really impressed. The food was delicious and they were able to keep me safe. The only warning I have for this restaurant though is that there’s some stuffed animal heads above the women’s bathroom and in the bar area. It’s hard not to see them, so if those sorts of things make you uncomfortable, try not to use the restroom at this restaurant.

Have eaten here several times. I am not celiacs but allergic (carry an epi pen) to wheat. Never had an issue and staff is great. Lots of GF options.

Nice selection of gf items and knowledgable, caring staff. My daughter enjoyed the tacos and also ate some of my potato skins and cup of chili. All we’re good and she was happy with variety available.

Lots of options! I had the Saloon Tacos. Amazing!! Highly recommend.

Lots of gluten free options on their menu.
Staff was GREAT about GF knowledge. All soups are GF. Gf bread for sandwiches (no GF buns for burgers but bread works just fine) and TONS of natural GF options. I was super impressed for such a little town. Adorable atmosphere also. Don't miss out if you have an opportunity to eat here!!!
Pretty good! I'm a portland food snob so I couldn't quite do 5 stars. Burger was delicious, GF bun was ok. The waitress said they have a dedicated grill for meat and fryer. Menu is notated with allergens.
Menu clearly marked GF items
Great menu with Gluten free items clearly marked. Gluten free breads available (did not try). Had stuffed zucchini that was fabulous.
