Favorite place to eat. Staff are knowledgeable and I’ve never had a problem. Good choices too.

Owner’s daughter has Celiac. They have new menus that have GF and DF options noted. Separate fryer. Not here with my celiac son but very excited to give it a try.

As the name implies, steak house and tavern. There is a middle eastern touch to the menu, so a lot of sides are grilled vegetables, one of the steak options was harissa rubbed steak with grilled sumac onions and roasted potatoes. Another was fried-rice style paella. The only thing they had to do to make GF was leave off the grilled bread that usually come with it. They have a good selection of salads with grilled meat, a variety of steaks and entrees that are grilled, and several sides that were fine, when I asked. I have gluten allergies (incidental contact usually not a big problem) and had no trouble, and our waiter was fairly knowledgeable. My son is celiac, and I would have asked a few more questions, if he’d been there. Side note, we went late on a Friday night, and it looked like almost everyone there had been drinking. The food was excellent, but it looks like a local drinking spot on the weekends, too.

The servers were really knowledgeable. Our server said that the restaurant has a lot of gluten free requests so they have a dedicated kitchen space and a dedicated fryer. My daughter was so excited to be able to have French fries
