Lots of gluten free options. One of the better gluten free crusts I’ve had. A little doughy but not bad

Sharing a recommendation for Sixty Vines near South End Charlotte. Not only do they have 60 wines on tap but they also have several gluten free options with a staff knowledgeable about celiac and allergy protocols. The CEO of Sixty Vines has celiac and as a result the restaurant is very accommodating.
Almost every item on the menu is naturally gluten free OR can be easily modified gluten free. The fryer does not ever have any gluten containing ingredients as they use a gluten free flour for all their fried foods - including fried chicken! They have gluten free flatbreads with a dedicated oven for gluten free flatbreads. I was also told they have dedicated separate pans for when other GF entrees are ordered or when the gluten free pasta dishes are ordered.
I had a great time and have had no reaction as a sensitive celiac.
This is not a dedicated gluten free restaurant so please take appropriate measures for your comfort levels. I always encourage you to advocate for your allergy and talk to staff members each time you visit a restaurant - you never know when an ingredient may change or a dedicated part of the kitchen is not in service.
I will definitely be returning to Sixty Vines for another great gluten free meal!

The food was phenomenal! Most of the menu was gluten free or could be modified to be gluten free. They were knowledgeable and had great service. I had the crispy zucchini appetizer, it was fried in a separate fryer. It was delicious and flavorful! I ordered the creste di gallo pasta, they subbed with gf penne pasta. We celebrated my birthday there and they lit a candle in my cheesecake to celebrate!

I have been to this location 3x and the Sixty Vines in Nashville, both have been an outstanding experience. They are very knowledgeable about celiac and CC. No need to worry here! They have dedicated prep and cook areas. We always get the charcuterie board and the gf pizzas (shrimp in particular) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Also the wine is amazing!

The ambiance is great and the food is even better. Awesome wine selection, the owner has celiac and so much can be made GF even if it’s not marked GF on the menu. Had hummus and GF bread, fried zucchini (dedicated fryer), bacon wrapped dates and a delicious beet salad. They have GF cheesecake. This is going to be a regular date night location. You should definitely check this out if your near Charlotte

They have gluten free pasta, gluten free buns, gluten free pizza crust, and cauliflower pizza crust. The owner has celiac disease so they are super familiar with safe preparations!

Very solid spot in terms of food. I got the pizza and thought the crust was one of the better ones around, where it wasn’t super crumbly and hard. The fried zucchini was delicious too and I didn’t have any symptoms eating that.
The wine is okay but I’m a lil picky when it comes to wine. They sell their wine out of a barrel and not a bottle but they have a ton of choices. I haven’t tried them all but I found the Paul Hobbs and 50/50 Joe Wagner were better than the Quilt Merlot and the Fischer. The Ridge was average.

New to the South End scene, this restaurant and wine bar is a MUST do! We drove 30 minutes and will make this a monthly restaurant visit.
To say the menu is gluten friendly is an understatement. Do not purely look at the menu for GF…SO many things can be adapted to GF. The fryers are GF and the waitstaff was super knowledgeable (special shout out to Avery)!
My non-GF hubby said it was the best pork chop he’s ever had, and my non-GF friends fell in love with the cheesecake.
This. was. DELICIOUS!!! Whether you love wine, love food, love a great ambience…just visit!
