We loved Sky before my husband’s celiac diagnosis but were a little nervous to give this place a try based on reviews. However, I’m so glad we did. Our waitress was very helpful and talked thru roll options with us. They do have gf soy sauce so we were able to order chicken fried rice without issue as well (minus the yum yum sauce).

Don’t go here if you have celiac. Was told “every roll was gluten free because rice is gluten free.” And then when I asked what was in the sauces he said “flour, etc…” And I asked for a gluten free list or if he could tell me what had no gluten and if I could sub steamed shrimp and he said no. Don’t trust it.

This restaurant has recently changed hands, so the menu has changed. When I asked the server about gluten-free items, she immediately brought the manager over to my table, and we went through the menu together. Many of the sushi items are listed as including tempura chicken or shrimp, but you can order any item without the batter. They also have gluten-free soy sauce, so I was able to order chicken fried rice made with GF soy sauce, and it was excellent. I also ordered a Razorback sushi roll without the tempura batter, and replaced it with steamed shrimp, and it was excellent. I was highly impressed with the attention the manager, server, and chef gave to my GF request, so I know they are taking extra precautions to avoid cross contamination. I feel safe eating there, and the food is scrumptious!
