I usually get the GF chicken pot pie and a slice of GF pie (chocolate silk is my favorite!) when I come here. I haven't had any problems with cross-contamination here.
Staff seems knowledgeable about Celiac safety.

The last time we came here (over a year ago) it was great, but this time I left empty-handed and wishing I'd packed a lunch instead of trusting that safe lunch in Arcata was a thing. They only had one gf pie, in the same case as the gluten stuff, on the bottom shelf so gluten crumbs can rain down on it all day. Not safe and very disappointing.

The GF pies are in the same case with the gluten pies. High chance of cross contamination!

WOW. I was not expecting this place to be so good!!! I got the Chilean potato hand pie and it was incredible. My non-celiac partner got the Leftovers pot pie (not gf, basically thanksgiving leftovers wrapped in pie crust) and he said that was also amazing. We shared a slice of gf chocolate silk pie and it was delicious. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back if I’m in the area.

Just fantastic gf pies. I got the chicken pot pie and the French silk. Both A+. Right now they have an outdoor patio and bar with lots of ciders on tap. Sunny and shady seating. Wish I had a bigger stomach.

Excellent food, always a good selection of gluten free savory and sweet pies. Although everything is made in the same kitchen, they are good about keeping things separate and I have never had a problem. Always delicious combinations that rotate monthly.

Two daily savory offerings — generally chick pie and empanadas — are safe gluten free. Dessert pies have a generous range of choices including French Silk and Apple. Always friendly, moderately priced and the pie crust is possibly the best GF crust in the USA.
Traveling through town and had a delicious slice of gluten free banana cream pie. They had 2 other options of pie and also 2 savory options that were also gluten free.

GF stored in the same case as regular food/pies. Traveling so I hope I don’t react. Lemonade tasted terrible. Chicken pot pie was pretty good. Husband wanted cold cider and received hot cider. Tried to talk to the gal but she ignored him. Got a splinter stuck in my leg from outdoor table.
Delicious Gluten-free pies including a chicken pot pie. I wish the staff was a little more friendly though.
They don’t have every option in gluten free, but what they do have is great. I had a chicken pot pie, and the crust was delicious- very flaky and buttery. I also had the strawberry rhubarb pie, which was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and seemed knowledgeable and careful with gluten free requests, and gf options are clearly marked. There are also some great cider options from the cider company that shares the space.
Delicious for both savory and sweet pies. As other reviewers have said, they make items in the same kitchen as glutenous items but are fastidious about separation. Neither person with celiac disease in our party detected any cross-contamination.
Clearly marked GF items on menu. Friendly helpful staff. GF chicken pot pie was great combination of savory filling and flaky crust. GF Crust was some of best I’ve had. Good selection of local ciders.

Great tasting pies and selection. They also make amazing gluten free Empenadas and gluten free chicken pot pies!
