My wife is allergic to wheat and nickel (think soy, beans, nuts and seafood).
My daughter is allergic to wheat.
Finding restaurants that cater for their allergies is very difficult.
While walking past, we walked in to confirm that there would be nothing for them to eat as its the car with most local burger places. We were told that they have a gluten free bun option (extra $2.50) and that their chips are cut potato, not formed potato (formed potato is a mix of mashed potato and soy pushed through a chip mould).
The chip fryer is also dedicated for chips only so is free from the residual gluten you get from when fried chicken is cooked in the same oil.
We have eaten there 3 times in the last few months and neither my wife or daughter have had any reaction from the Burgers or chips.
