Smokin’ Jim's House of Bar-B-Q

Ate here on business trip. This is a favorite of the locals - hole in the wall kind of place that puts out top notch BBQ. Recent updates to their menu/ingredients have all their meats and sauces being gluten free according to the Manager (waitress didn't even know that). Fryer only does french fries and so that seems to GF as well. I had the ribs and pulled pork and fries - it was fantastic. Note: Despite multiple conversations, they still initially put cornbread onto my plate. I reminded them and they took the cornbread off. As I am not celiac but sensitive I saw where they had put the bread and removed those sections of food. I would have given them 5 stars if it weren't for this obvious screw up. I didn't react and would eat here again. Celiacs - be wary but hopefully with more experience they will pay more attention.
