Absolutely amazing food! We ate here twice so far during our family reunion, and the food is FANTASTIC!
Friendly atmosphere aside, their knowledge of gluten free and their menu is SO heartening. Everything on their menu is gluten free EXCEPT for their Korean Beef and their buns.
I got the brisket burger on the first day - tis served on a bed of mixed greens that are utterly delicious with the meat. My second meal was their salad with jerk chicken - also phenomenal.
Their fryer is used for chips and fries and brussel sprouts. No wheat whatsoever. Perfectly gluten frkee fries!
Not gonna lie, I'm sad to leave this place and return to California. HIGHLY recommend returning to here!

Good food. Smoked meat is served without a bun if you ask for GF. They said everything but the buns and Korean beef are GF.

All sandwiches can be made GF on a bed of lettuce (no bun). I had the pork bbq with coleslaw and French fries with their fry sauce. Delicious! Nothing else goes in the fryer so no CC!

Barbecue is available as GF on a bed of greens. The sides are almost all GF. I was so excited to have a delicious dinner that included fresh fries! Yummmm!!

No cross contamination protocols in place, even though they will tell you there are.
The cook will give you some attitude when asking questions. It’s very clear he finds GF customers annoying.
I talked with the owner the day before attempting to eat here and he assured me that they have safe GF options for celiacs including a fryer that is only used for potatoes and they use tamari instead of soy sauce. However, the staff is either poorly trained or they don’t care when he’s not around.
The younger girl at the counter was wonderful and helpful.
I didn’t eat here, but the rest of our group did and said the food was mediocre, so you’re likely not missing much.

Ate at the Smoquehouse twice while in AMI and it was delicious! I had the rosemary chicken on greens and fries. So thankful to eat somewhere and not get sick.

So disappointed! After reading the reviews here, I was excited to try Smoqehouse. I prefer to order in-person for my Celiac daughter to be sure they understand the necessary precautions, so my husband went in to place our order. The menu specifically says if you are gluten-free, you can order all of the sandwiches without a bun and on a bed of greens instead; however, my husband was told my daughter’s burger would NOT be Celiac-safe as they are made on the same grill where they toast the buns. My husband ended up asking them to grill her meat on tinfoil, which the cook grudgingly did - though he noted he wouldn’t do it for us if they were any busier. We definitely won’t be returning!

Perfect Celiac friendly menu with separate fryer and nearly everything on menu can be served GF

The food was outstanding. They told me that the bread and the sauces that had soy sauce added were the only items to avoid. They said the BBQ and Smokn sauce were safe. They said the fryer is gluten free. I had the chicken tacos (special of the day), fried green beans without the glaze (also a daily special). I also tried the beef brisket burger no bun on a bed of greens and the fries. Everything was delicious. I only wish we would have eaten there sooner during our vacation so I could have tried more of their food.
The owner was well versed in celiac, i felt very comfortable eating there and food was delicious!!! My husband even loved it, i felt great after and didnt get sick. Def recommend!!!

Great find! Pulled pork is served on lettuce instead of bun. Dedicated fryer for fries or chips. Stella cider plus some other choices and they knew about celiac.
