We ordered the salmon and a burger. They had a gluten free bun and the chips were also gluten free. The food was marked as Gluten free.

They have no idea about gluten free food preparation even though they offer a gluten free menu. Definitely not a safe choice.
Brought me a gluten free menu, waitress told me it would be all good - I ordered a salad to be on the safe side. Sick within 10 minutes of my first few bites. HORRIBLY sick. Sushi may have been okay but a lot of tempura sushi so no good.

Limited knowledge and food. Horrible service last 3 times!
Snug Harbor is not a good option at all if you need gluten free. Their idea of gluten free is to offer no bread, no croutons. So you can eat there but no differently than any other place that is a standard restaurant. Additionally, for the price, the food was not good. I had a steak, my husband had a steak and my child had a steak and though of 3 different cuts, the meat was overcooked and was tough. I do not know if they have anything actually dedicated to gluten free cooking. It appears it is merely a regular restaurant in a lovely setting with sub-par food and only avoidance for the gluten sensitive. We have not tried the Jelly's which is another associated place in the building that specializes in sushi which would normally be gluten free if you use wheat free soy sauces. I would not recommend snug harbor to gluten sensitive and certainly not to Celiac people.
