Best gluten free pizza we ever had! The crust was primarily made from cauliflower and did not contain coconut (an allergen in many gluten free products). We would definitely return to Sofia. Great ambiance, amazing food and safe eating.

Sofia’s was awesome! At least half of the appetizers were gluten free, all of the pastas and pizzas can be made gluten free, we asked about cross contamination and they were very aware and prepared their GF meals in a separate area. The potatoes were crazy amazing

Definitely one of my favorites if not my favorite spot in New Orleans! They do not have items marked GF but so many things there are gluten free! The ricotta appetizer was mouth watering and the potato appetizer was great as well. I got the steak and eggs for my main meal. Highly recommend! Everyone is very knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination.

We chose this place solely off of the reviews on this app and wow, did it not disappoint! Even though they were slammed the wait staff still took time to walk us thru the menu— almost everything could be made gf. The chef even came out to our table to talk us thru accommodations. They were incredibly knowledgeable about celiacs and just ensured we had a fun night. The food is amazing, even though our whole family is not gf, everyone ordered from the gf menu and said it was some of the best pasta and pizza they ever had. One note, the gf menu is not online.

Everything was soooo good. Gluten free options for everything! We had both the pesto pasta and the mushroom pizza. 3 of us were GF, 4 were not and the waitress was super helpful navigating the meni and marked the orders with allergy and walked it back to the chef personally to be sure. I would definitely eat here again and again.

Loved Sofia! It is a modern take on an old school Italian vibe, and the ambiance and decor were very well done. It was very loud at times but it didn’t last too long. Finding gluten free Italian options can be especially challenging, but this was amazing. The service was great and very accommodating. They did a mod for the lobster flatbread so I could have it (so yummy!), have gluten free pizza crust and the gluten free pasta arrabiata was delicious. Will definitely add it to my list of favorite NOLA places.

I simply can’t say enough about this place. The minute I asked about gluten free they pointed out the very few things that couldn’t be made gluten free and all else was available to me. I ordered a very simple spaghetti pomodoro and weeks after the trip I am still thinking of how incredible the sauce and the homemade gluten free pasta was. Excellent and no stomach issues at all. Can’t say enough.

Super knowledgeable wait staff, they tell you all about the items that can be made gf on the menu which is probably 80% if not more, they make sure the food on your table doesn’t cross contaminate, they can make special requests, really a gf dream.

Excellent option for GF! Homemade pasta and pizza crust that are GF. It was so hard to decide, we got both and split them. Great service also. Highly, highly recommend Sophia’s! I’m a Celiac and had no issues after eating here.

If you like being surrounded by photos of Sophia Loren this spot is for you! The atmosphere is upbeat in the open space, high ceiling restaurant. My wife and I are gluten-free and they have pizza and pasta as well as bread for us. We began with cocktails which were very good. My wife had an Aperol Spritz and I had a Negroni. Il for our meal I had the cacio e Pepe prepared perfectly. My wife had the risotto which she said was tasty and the vegetables were so fresh they tasted like they were picked that morning. Our server was professional and personable and understood our dietary restrictions. Overall a great find and highly recommended.

I usually write reviews on behalf of my celiac son and hubby but I had to drop a line for this one. I don't have to eat gluten free, but tonight I ordered gluten free Cacio e pepe so my hubby could try it and oh my gosh it was amazingly good!! Even my picky kids loved it! By far the best gluten free pasta I've ever had in the last 14 years!

This was so disappointing. I was do looking forward to the meal. Pizza got "lost" in the shuffle then after 90 minutes came out regular not GF. Staff was not concerned at all.

This restaurant was awesome. I got the gluten free margarita pizza and my sister got the gluten free alla vodka pasta so we could share them. I got the alla vodka pasta. They said they have gluten free pasta and gluten free pizza when I asked for a menu. Also was able to get the chocolate torta and they were able to not put the graham crackers on them. Very good food. Probably one of the best meals we’ve had so far.
