Absolutely terrible. I ordered my food off of the gluten free menu and specified that I was celiac. I ordered blackened filets and a side salad (no croutons) and they brought out the two filets and the side salad had croutons. I told the manager that brought our food out it was supposed to be gluten free for an allergy, so no croutons, and she grabbed all 3 of my plates and rudely announced in-front of my customers that they could not accommodate an allergy and they could NOT HELP ME. No apology, nothing…. Then she walked away. I was so embarrassed. It’s one thing to say, I’m so sorry, mam. We are afraid this may make you sick, but it’s a whole other story to make a scene like she did. DO NOT GO HERE. They will make you sick or rudely decline you.

I've gone in successfully a time or two, and I'd like to give them credit there. Unfortunately, my latest experience leaves me unable to return. I'm celiac, so I'm very careful and only frequent places I'm confident about because being sick is awful, and has effects for weeks for me.
That being said my latest experience.... went in for lunch. Asked for the blackened salmon salad, made sure to clarify that I am highly allergic so please no cornbread, no bread or crackers of any kind and please no use of seasonings we can't ensure are safe.....
I'm eating my salad and realize there are large cornbread crumbs in my salad. Evidently, the staff doesn't understand that cornbread crumbs is not an acceptable topping for a gluten free salad. The manager assures me they take the GF orders seriously and that he would train his staff, but even he didn't seem to understand that you need to prepare gf orders in a gf environment. What made it worse is the server was absolutely awful about it, the manager was apologetic, but I have absolutely lost faith in this establishment.
If your celiac your rolling the dice here.

The wait staff and the manager were wonderful in ensuring my meal would be gluten free. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the blackened catfish with the cucumber salad. I have celiac and am very sensitive. I had no problems.

The waitress was excellent and offered us a gluten free menu and guided us through our options. I am also dairy free and they were very accommodating. Blackened / grilled catfish, trout, salmon, shrimp, salads, and the majority of the sides are all gluten free. I highly recommend the trout!!

Blackened Shrimp is so good! Order with a side of grilled zucchini.
They do have a gluten free menu but beware! They use a shared fryer on some of their items labeled gf. I tried to educate as ask that these items be removed from the menu. One manager even though the gluten would be “cooked out” in the fryer.

Soul Fish has improved their menu since I was last there. For Gluten Free I ordered grilled salmon, a whole baked sweet potato and a side of broccoli. It was better than expected.

Had Dinner at Soul Fish Cafe last night and was reminded to always share with my waitress my allergies. I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon and no croutons. The dish came out with corn bread on the side of the plate. That was my fault for not asking or knowing there would be additional bread so I ate the other side of my dish steering clear of the bread side. I took a bite of the salmon and noticed something off only to find several croutons in my salad. I notified the waitress and she immediately gave me a new salad and handle the situation appropriately. After a night of being sick into the morning, definitely a good reminder to speak up for yourself even at your "safe" places.

They have items on their gluten-free menu that are not actually gluten-free. They list their french fries as gluten-free but they are fried and a shared fryer. I tried to educate them about this but they didn’t seem to care. And the waitress told me they are not careful about cross contamination.

They have a gf menu! Grilled shrimp, fish, salads and veggies!
