South Philly Steaks

The cheese steak was very yummy and I felt fine after. They were very careful when making mine and seemed to understand everything that had to be done to not cross contaminate. I could have toppings on my cheese steak and one of the cheese mixes on it as well. They use Udi's sub rolls and the cheese sauce is good. My only complaint is that the fries are not gluten free. So we did have to go pick up fries else where so I could have that with my cheese steak and use the cheese sauce dip. Finally being able to have a good traditional style cheese steak after so many years was great.

Gluten Free roll is DELICIOUS, its crunchy and doesn’t fall apart. Came here to try it out for the first time yesterday & had to come back again today. The lunch special is $7.99 ($10.99 with the GF roll) & includes fries and a fountain drink.

Very knowledgeable about gluten free! My sandwich was delicious. The roll was a little hard, not sure if it was stale or just typical GF weirdness. We will definitely go back when we are in town again, but I’ll probably order my philly in a bowl and skip the bread. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and let me know there was an up charge for the GF roll, which I expected, but nice of him to let me know. If you go definitely plan to be there for a little while, even at an off time. I don’t mind to wait especially when they take extra precautions for food safety, but we waited close to 30 minutes for our food.

So delicious! They were careful about cross contamination, they said I could have all the cheese sauces and toppings and everything was gluten free for the cheesesteaks besides the regular bread. They even put my gluten free sub in a separate bag from the rest of my order which was regular subs

OMG! Yum! I’m from Philly and they do an amazing cheese steak here. They use Udi’s hoagie rolls here! The sexy sauce is to die for. Put it on everything!! The burgers are just as good and come on an Udi’s hamburger roll. I used to go here and request no roll. So happy they have gluten free now.
