Southend General Store & Restaurant

This was years ago. I have not eaten here recently and know nothing about the new staff. I went to a three course dinner with a cider tasting here. The chef was knowledgeable about celiac disease and bent over backwards to accommodate me. As an extra measure I utilized a Nima Sensor and tested samples of the components of each course. Everything tested GF. As a celiac, I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The store has SO MANY delicious gluten free options!!!! Upon looking at the menu, the restaurant doesn’t appear to... until you ask and find out that ALMOST EVERYTHING on the menu can be made gf!!
