Spain Restaurant and Toma Bar

Was super excited to try this restaurant, asked about their GF items. After talking to the kitchen, they said that they were too busy and weren’t able to accommodate celiac’s and couldn’t say the food would be prepared safely. Happy for the honesty but disappointed we had to leave after we had called ahead.

Looked closed from the kerb but inside it’s an oasis of calm in white. Super range of gluten free tapas to mix and match to taste or choose a larger entree. We had steak and mushrooms, vegetable paella, peppers dish, prawns in garlic, patatas bravas. Super tasty. Pinot Grigio. Yum. So relaxed an atmosphere and all items on menu clearly marked gf. Enjoyed it.

Make sure to call ahead and reserve a table! Food was fantastic. Waitress asked about allergies and explained what they do to prevent cross-contamination. We ordered 5 tapas, sangria and flan. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend!

I went to this restaurant for dinner and had an amazing experience, the waiter was amazing and very informative. He spoke with the kitchen and advised what they recommend for less chance of cross contamination and what was made to order was best. The food was awesome and as someone who is an extremely sensitive celiac i did not get sick.

I was very happy with the place and able to get a seat at the bar! The bartender was very nice and made sure I had no cross contamination.

I got the chicken and rice and it was delicious!! I also had one of their ciders imported from Spain and it was amazing!!

Could not recommend enough. The menu is clearly labeled with many many options.

It felt like everyone working was family and they were inviting me in. There were tons of regulars which is always a good sign.
