Special Teas

Special Teas is the type of place that really makes me wish I didn't have Celiac. It's an adorable and cozy tea shop with a great menu and lots of delicious looking desserts. They do offer GF bread, English muffins and some GF desserts. There is also a selection of salads. They don't have a separate toaster, but they use a separate rack on the top of the toaster oven. "We try our very best" is what the owner told us. That was very reassuring! They have an extensive selection of teas and the homemade Chai was delicious! The GF tea sandwiches and GF almond cake were both very good. I didn't get sick here and I very much enjoyed the atmosphere. The kitchen is open, it looks like a home kitchen, so you could watch them prepare your food. A really cute place!
