Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas

Can’t rave enough about Spuntino in the Galleria Mall. After I made my reservation the chef, Chef Ryan, called me directly (have never had that happen before) after seeing my reservation noted I have celiac, and he explained their menu items, how they prep everything, how their kitchen is laid out and assured that I would be able to enjoy a meal there w no issue.

He came to the table multiple times after we sat and as each plate was delivered he let me know how it was made, what was used, etc. Went above and beyond, food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Customer for life!

The staff was very knowledgeable about celiac & cross contamination. I have eaten there 3 times recently and not gotten sick once. Great place and food for celiacs!

Just ate their last night - ordered a pasta dish with gluten free spaghetti. Unfortunately half way through I saw a noodle that was definitely not gluten free !! I immediately stopped eating the dish and told the waitress. They weren’t really apologetic or concerned. I definitely will not be back.

Food was great and had many GF options , although many items are naturally GF. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. The server had said to me that the chefs will scrub the cooking surface prior to cooking my meal. Overall a good experience!
