I did not find the cafe to have very many options but most entrees do list allergens on a card, and they have a rack of gf energy bars, chocolate pretzels, etc. If you are gluten-free and the parent/guest of an inpatient, you can ask for dietary to bring you a gluten-free menu. You can either pay for your meal over the phone when ordering, or you can go to the cafe on the 1st floor and buy vouchers ($7 per meal at this time). You then hand the voucher to the person delivering your tay to the room. You can buy all your vouchers for that day at once. The chef salad was good and contained real roast beef and turkey. My omelet on which I asked for green peppers, mushrooms, ham and mozzarella was also very good. When we were there, they were out of many of the packaged items like the gf brownie, cookies, crackers and muffin.
