Fantastic place. Almost everything can be made gluten free (celiac safe), servers are super knowledgeable and seem to really care. I usually get onion rings and buffalo wings and they are delicious, but I have also had nachos, Mac and cheese, and more. I have never had a problem there and it is by far one of my favorite restaurants.

was recently glutened here. I ordered a cobb salad and chicken nachos to go and was awfully sick after. Really disappointed because this has been my go to restaurant for years. The nachos seemed completely different too so maybe they have new chefs?

Tons of GF options, almost the whole menu can be made gluten free! The waitress seemed very familiar with GF, and we got onion rings and a gluten free veggie burger. “Gluten allergy” was marked on our receipt. A very casual and lively atmosphere!

It’s is the best gluten free fries and chicken tenders I have ever had and in the morning they have some amazing gluten free pancakes I’ve never gotten sick

Ate there recently and got extremely sick after. Place assured me that croutons were gluten free and food came on a different plate. This has never happened before at a restaurant for me.

They offer gluten free bread and rolls for burgers. They have a separate deep fryer for French fries and onion rings. Our waiter was very conscientious with addressing our allergies. They even offer a salted caramel brownie which is gluten free!

Their in person menu wasn’t marked gluten free but I cross checked using the online one. Server checked the items I asked about. Had fried calamari (gluten/dairy free) and the roasted chicken with veggies and potatoes. All good.

Ate here twice on vacation because it was so amazing! Food comes out on different colored plates so it is easily noticeable if it isn’t gf. Had two different sandwiches and they were both superb.

Pretty sure I was glutened here the other day. I had steak tips and mashed potatoes. Although the waiter seemed to know about food allergies, the manager who brought over the food was very cavalier when I asked him if it was gluten-free. I thought the GF food was supposed to be on blue plates came out on a white one. I asked the server and he said they did not have that shape plate in blue. I did not feel safe at all there and will not be returning. Two days of intestinal issues.

Whole gf menu that is separate from the regular menu. Gf food (except pasta) comes out in blue plates so staff knows to avoid cross contamination and customers can instantly tell the difference. Pasta doesn’t because they just don’t have blue bowls. 5yo son can eat fried food because they have a dedicated gf fryer. He tried the gf bacon & cheddar tater tots today. They just exactly the same as the non-gf. Amazing place with a fantastic gf menu!

They have a whole separate GF menu with lots of choices! Yummy homemade GF pasta. Separate GF fryer. Everything we had was delicious. My son especially loved the GF fries! The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because parking was tricky.

Friend seafood! The best reason to go and why we often go there. Great staff. Usually packed and parking can be annoying. Only issue I’ve had was the platter seemed a bit small. I said something and they immediately remedied.

Nice place! Found it through this app and happy about it! They have a whole gluten free menu with even the fried stuff on it! To be fair, I didn’t try the food yet (waiting for it), but since I’m hungry it’ll be good anyway! :D

Knowledgeable and very friendly staff, good burger (albeit a little pricey for what it was)... food came on a blue plate (non gf comes on white). Pretty big gluten free menu with appetizers, sandwiches, pasta dishes and entrees. They have Glutenberg beer!

A favorite go to for us. The bacon tater tots are worth the trip EVERY time.

My wife loves this place. We tried together and I started doubting about what they know about gluten when they told me I should be good with any of the meals from the standar menu for lunch. They only have gf menu for dinner. The plate arrived. Home fries and omelette and a gf piece of bread. After that 2 days sick. My bet is that the fries where fried in the oil that fried other food, or that the omelette was made on a grill same place that rest of the food. I wont be coming here again

Great selection of gf options! just ask the hostess for their GF menu. fried calamari was DELICIOUS! waitress and staff bring out the food and let you know it is GF, our waitress was not really pleasant but the overall experience was great, they even have downeast cider on tap! definitely going back to try other items on their menu!

They seemed very comfortable with their gluten free menu. The GF bun they used was tasty, and they had a dedicated fryer. They also have a blue plate means GF system for peace of mind. I would go pretty far out of my way to stop here for lunch again.

Huge menu of excellent gluten-free choices. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The GF fish and chips with fries and onion rings were wonderful. Many of their breakfast items can be made GF.

Food was fantastic!!! Awesome gluten free menu and service. Fisherman's plater was one of the best I've ever had. They have gf wings and French onion soup which was amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Stars on Hingham Harbor has a gluten-free menu filled with slightly sophisticated comfort foods. Open for lunch and dinner, their menu has loads of options for starters, sides, salads and entrees. A particularly unique, and filling appetizer is their Ultimate Grilled Buffalo Chicken Nachos: spicy grilled chicken or beef topped with beans, tomatoes, onions, black olives, jalapenos, cheese, sour cream and salsa. All of their entrée options come straight from the sea, but their Homemade Bacon and Cheddar Tater Tots come from the land. If you're more in the mood for pasta, then try their Lobster Mac n' Cheese: gluten-free pasta mixed with fresh lobster meat, shitake mushrooms, green peas and drizzled in white truffle oil – oh, and don't forget the cheese! When it's all over, save room for a slice of Chocolate Torta for dessert!

LOVE THEM SO HARD!

so nice to have fried food once in a while! they pull out all the stops and make the GF experience just as delicious and SAFE as it used to be to eat fried delicious wonderfulness.

Oh yeah and a cool atmosphere with a really great bar. I drive 50 minutes and smile the whole way there and back.

So happy to have fried food options. Very sensitive and didn't get sick. Will definitely go back!
