Stony Knob Cafe was a great find for our celiac family. Numerous, Very tasty, eclectic gfree options. Scallops and pork belly with blackberry compote, lingonberries and mashed potatoes is to die for. Greek lamb tacos with tzatziki sauce was great. Throw in pork Thai lettuce wraps and a great gfree adventure.

Good experience and delicious food! The drunken mussels were the best I’ve ever had. The pesce italiano had a wonderful flavor with great risotto.

I don’t trust this place for GF one bit. Tried a couple times and got sick each time. Staff says some things are GF and other days they are not. I feel GF is on the menu here only because of trend in food industry and Asheville area. Never will I trust this place again.

The atmosphere is REALLY interesting. One of the rooms literally had a bearskin rug on the ceiling. Another room has the Lord’s Supper and a Bond poster on the same wall. I had kimchi tacos that were delicious. I would definitely come back.
Gluten free options marked on menu. Delicious options and knowledgeable staff. Very popular restaurant!
