This place is very charming and had many delicious treats. However, if you are celiac and can’t have oats as well there is cross contamination. The oats are gluten free but they are on the same trays as the gluten free no oats treat.

Enjoyed the safety of eating at a dedicated bakery. However, some items I loved and other I did not. So it does feel a bit hit and miss.

This is a nice spot for a quick treat and dedicated, so it's safe for sensitive celiacs!

I enjoyed it, but to me everything still tasted... well... gluten free? The nanaimo bar was a little too soft and tasted strongly of coconut oil (I think this was because it was vegan too?) and the cinnamon bun, while definitely one of the best I've had gluten free, still didn't rival the gluten version. Everything was almost sickly sweet.

Admittedly, I went at the end of the day, which is not the best time to get a baked good from any bakery, so they may be better if you go first thing in the morning. Gluten free doughs are a fickle beast, but I don't like to rave too hard when something is "pretty good for gluten free" instead of just blowing me away. Definitely the best gluten free bakery I've been to, but my previous experiences with other bakeries set a pretty low bar unfortunately. Still a great spot if you don't want to bake for yourself or need to pick up treats for an event though!

Super pâtisserie ! Tout est sans gluten ! Et c’est super bon. La texture des aliments et juste wow! Je recommande. J’ai seulement pris les options pour manger immédiatement, mais des pizzas pochettes étaient disponibles!!! Prochaine fois j’en prend sans aucune doute 🤩

Ordered online 3 days in advance as required, misjudged traffic and ended up being late by 5 mins past closing but they were more than happy to still serve me. Cannot say enough nice things about the staff that served me. Purchased bagels and a few other things. Had the bagel for breakfast and it is THE BEST GF and vegan bagel I’ve ever had!

(Français plus bas) I was really excited to visit Blonde Bakery, because there is no such establishment where i live. When i got there, i was happy to see everything had a gluten free mark (you know just to be sure). I was intrigued by the one-portion pink lemonade cake in the fridge so i got that and my non-celiac friend told me Boston Cream Doughnut were his favorite so i got that too. The doughnut was really disappointing. When i took a bite i tasted coconut (which i really dont like). My friend said Boston Cream was not supposed to have a coconut flavor. The taste of the dough was great, but i regret taking that doughnut. If i knew there was going to be coconut in it, i would have take something else. I know it is also dairy free explaining the coconut, but i guess i kinda just forgot!

J’avais vraiment hâte d’aller à Blonde Bakery, parce que j’ai rien de tel chez moi. Quand je suis arrivée, j’étais rassurée de voir que tout avait une confirmation sans gluten (juste pour être certain). J’étais intriguée par le gâteau portion individuelle à la limonade rose et mon ami non-coeliaque m’avait dit que sa saveur préférée de donut était Crème Boston donc j’ai pris c’est deux choses. Le donut était décevant. Quand j’en ai pris une bouchée, j’ai goûté de la noix de coco (ce que je n’aime vraiment pas). Mon ami m’a dit que la crème Boston ne goûte habituellement pas ça. Le goût de la pâte était wow, mais je regrette d’avoir choisi ça. Si j’avais su qu’il allait y avoir de la noix de coco, j’aurais pris quelque chose d’autre. Je sais que la pâtisserie est aussi sans lactose, donc ça explique la noix de coco, mais j’avais un peu oublié!

I frequent Strawberry Blonde often and love their offerings. I particularly enjoy the 'Very Cherry' cake and the various cookies sold at the bakery counter. Since the bakery is completely gluten-free it is a safe place for anyone sensitive to cross-contamination.

My favourite dedicated GF bakery in Ottawa. There are so many options and they’re always coming out with new products. I love to browse the frozen take home selection when I pop in for some treats. It’s impossible to choose one favourite item but their double chocolate peppermint cookies, s’mores bars, and cinnamon buns are my top three! They also do custom orders and I’ve ordered beautiful custom cakes, cookies and cupcakes for special events.

I love strawberry blonde. I go here anytime I get sad at the lack of delicious gluten free food. i've only ordered delivery bc I have mobility restrictions. But since the whole bakery is gluten free (plus vegan and nut free) I haven't had any issues, and the staff is very helpful. Their donuts and nanaimo bars are my favourite. But I've also tried some of their frozen stuff like pizza dough and scones and those were also great. Highly recommend!

I have been getting all my baked goods here for quite some time now. Always super safe and delicious food. Cinnamon buns are to die for and my not gf/df friend who tried them thought they were amazing so that says a lot about the quality of food. I always have their cookies on hand and the seasonal menus are always great!! Love this place soooo much!!

Delicious cakes, also have some neat vegan patties in their freezer (pizza and jamaican last time I ate some). If you have gluten eating and non-vegan friends the chocolate brownie cake thing is a hit - I've never had leftovers of that one and they typically can't tell unless you tell them.

They have oats in a few things so if you also have an oat intolerance like me ask and they'll help you steal clear of them.

Dedicated gluten-free, nut-free and dairy-free bakery. Definitely safe for those with allergies and celiac-safe. I have found I have loved most baked goods I bought and was only slightly disappointed by the vegan "meat" pies. But then I never like any meat replacement so... Go for the baked goods! ;)

This place is great! Lots of yummy treats. I had the cinnamon bun and mocha Nanimo bar last visit - both were really good but also really sweet. My favourite thing is the donuts but they are only available on Saturdays.
