Went for anniversary dinner and left before ordering because options were so dismal. Very few options. Scallops are dusted in flour. If you want lobster or shrimp, they only come as pasta dishes, but there’s no GF pasta and menu clearly says they don’t substitute, so I felt weird asking. My review is so harsh because overall, Portland has been an incredible eating city as a celiac. I expected this place to be on par with that experience and am disappointed it wasn’t.

The BEST restaurant in all of Portland. My fiancée is Celiac and has eaten there dozens of times. Never a problem, and easily the best food in Portland. We regularly drive from Mass for a nice dinner out, and it’s worth that drive.
Couldn’t recommend more.

Ordered the yellowfin with red wine sauce and my partner ordered the blue fish special. Fantastic oysters and “wake up call” drink and homemade ice cream. No gf pasta limited entree items to 4/11, but very delicious!

Our server was extremely knowledgable and answered all of my questions. I had the grilled yellowfin tuna, and the blackened aioli that came with it was incredible! One of the best meals I had in Portland. Be sure to get reservations ahead of time!

I told the hostess I couldn’t have gluten and she alerted my server before I could. He starred all the items on the menu that I could have (about 50%). I had the yellowfin tuna and it was absolutely delicious. They really seemed to understand Celiacs

Absolutely delicious! I’ve been eating here for over a decade and they always take such great care with my food allergies (gluten, corn, egg and sugar). Such a great seafood selection!

Heavy gluten filled menu. Would not recommend

Price is crazy high for the lack of options. Not my favorite. Staff does understand Celiacs so be sure to communicate with them.
I've been here 5 times or so in the last year and it's one of my favorite spots. Great atmosphere and plenty of gf dishes. All the wait staff I've worked with have been knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend.
Yes
The wait staff was willing to help me find a gluten free alternative and gluten free selection from the menu however they do not have a separate gluten free menu. They were willing to make the items without bread to accommodate my needs. Food was very good. Atmosphere is nice as well.
