Food is bland and tasteless. Have tried numerous items on the menu and ordered 5 times thru drive thru in a one year span. Gave it chance after chance with no improvement. It’s not worth it. Plus the owner is arrogant, rude, a copycat, undermining, and tactless. Many restaurant owners don’t like Todd, the “proprietor”. Although I appreciate his efforts to bring variety, the food doesn’t match his bloated ego.

I went to Strip's Chicken twice in the last week while traveling through Kansas City. The restaurant was amazing and I hope they do well enough to expand to more locations. A LOT of the options are gluten free, and it's fast food that is delicious. The nuggets are super moist and delicious. The macaroni and cheese was very good as well. The fries could have been better, but they weren't too bad. The fried pickles and peppers were interesting - super flavorful, but they did get soggy quickly. I felt very safe eating here as a celiac and would absolutely go back again. The employees were great both times I went in, and the receipt even has a note from the owner about how seriously he takes training his employees, which gives me even more confidence in their gluten-free care and safety.

BEST gluten-free chicken nuggets I’ve ever had. They were so soft yet crispy! The fries and mac n cheese were quite good too. I didn’t get sick after!

This place is so good and I'm so happy I could cry! Seriously, the nuggets are incredible and the white chicken chili is phenomenal. I really appreciated in the online ordering process that you can distinguish between regular fries and true GF fries. BLESS.

We love Strips! They have a lot if GF choices. The GF chicken nuggets are a favorite. They have GF macaroni and cheese, Gf fries and onion strips, and more. It is not a chain. The owner is a great guy who is very involved in his two restaurants.

Dream come true! One of the safest places to eat! The owner has a celiac in the family. They have a dedicated fryer, gf buns, most of the sauces are GF. The pork burgers are my fav. Onion strings, fries, nuggets are amazing. I never get sick, they always mark GF well. The food nearly brings me to tears no joke.

Staff was knowledge and said that I couldn’t have a donut with my combo meal. My items weren’t labeled GF but the receipt said GF. I got the chicken Mac and cheese, onion strings, fries, and fried pickles/jalapeños. All very delicious! The breading isn’t very crispy but tastes great and has a sweet flavor to it. Definitely recommend!

Strip's Chicken is the best restaurant for Celiacs in Kansas City! The owner has set up a separate fryer for the french fries and the nuggets as well as the fried onion straws and fried pickles. All the sandwiches can be made with a gluten free bun, and they even have gluten free mac and cheese! I have eaten here a ton and never gotten sick. When you order the nuggets (not the strips, those aren't gluten free), they will ask if you want it gluten free. Gluten free means they don't give you a donut but they give you an extra nugget. All the sauces (except gravy) are safe. Run don't walk to Strips!
