While cross-contamination is clearly understood, because it’s primarily a run bar with a tapas-style menu, there’s not a whole lot that is gluten free. However, the things they do offer were great! We got the two ceviches (one modified to remove fried tostada) and the Camarones al Ajillo (this was our favorite, the sauce was to die for). I recommend stopping through for drinks and appetizers on the way to a larger dinner at Amatista downstairs in the resort!

Clearly marked the menu and there was even a gluten-free dessert on the menu. Also if you're staying at the hotel the shops have snack areas available just for gluten-free options. It's awesome including gluten-free cookies and graham crackers for Smore's.

We enjoyed our dinner so much that we returned a second night. They have items marked on the menu GF but can do almost all the items GF. The first night we got the Pinchos de Carne Asada, the Ropa Vieja and the Jerk Chicken. The second night we got the Pinchos de Carne Asada, the Curry Chicken, the Roasted Pork and a dude of coconut rice. It was all really good. The servers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The best dining experience we had on Universal property!

This place is amazing! They're willing to accommodate and allergies and check with the kitchen. The food is really good and, if you ask, they can make many dishes gluten free.

This restaurant is actually inside of the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. Beautiful restaurant, great food, delicious rum drinks, and wonderful wait staff. Since I didn't see any reviews on FMGFree, and I have Celiac, I was a little unsure. As soon as I started to order, I asked what could be made gluten free. Our waitress, Magdalena, immediately brought the chef, Carlos, out to discuss our options. He pointed out my options and assured me it would be cooked in a safe way. I had the Ropa Vieja with coconut rice and plantains (prepared in a separate pan). It was so good I came back 3 times in two days. Rum was strong and the tall pitchers were great. Highly recommend. I mentioned to Carlos and the GM, Fernando that they should consider updating the menu to reflect gf options.
