Sugar Beach Bake Shop

Nothing was marked gluten free but I was told a couple items on the bottom shelf were. I got the blueberry cheesecake square which she said was gluten free but I had a very bad reaction to it. I don’t think that it was gluten free. I also got a couple of macarons that they put in the same box as my friends treat that was not gluten free. It sounds like some people have have good experiences here but I would just say be careful. I did get sick from the bar that they told me was gluten free.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

We did not end up finding any GF items on the one day we tried. We asked about their availability and were told they had one baker who makes their GF products and they just said to check in each day to see if anything was available. We asked about calling and they said checking in in person would be best. My recommendation would be to stop here if you are in the area but do t count on anything being available.

We went early and they had several gluten free options. A cookie, a muffin and an Oreo type cookie. I got the chocolate banana muffin which was very moist and good! It is not a dedicated facility and could have cross contamination issues but it is a cute little shop with lots of fun items such as coffee and drinks and i was happy for a close by gluten free option

They had really good macaroons gf!! They also had some cookies. We went later in the day so there weren’t as many options but the lady working there said if we were to go earlier there would have been more!

Good gluten free options! Very yummy, helpful, cute environment.

Not gluten free. Mainly gluten items there was one coffee cake the was gf but cross contamination is an issue here.

Offer GF items made off site to avoid cross contamination. Also offer vegan items. Very friendly staff too & patient when asking for ingredient details.
