Sugar Daddy's lives up to its name but not to all the hype! I normally love sweets but these were SO sugary that we found them close to inedible. We bought a lot of goodies, given all the positive reviews, and were disappointed in all of them. Unfortunately it seems like they focus on sugar, rather than flavor. If you're not already in the area, skip it. Boxed mixes honestly taste better.

First time in Edinburgh so had to take a look at sugar daddy’s. Turned up quite late in the day so wasn’t a full selection as they had sold out on a lot of stuff. The sausage roll was amazing. Picked up a cookie and a muffin. All very very nice and compared to other gf bakeries it was very well priced.

There was lots of variety of gluten-free baked goods. The shop has a nice atmosphere, staff are welcoming, and all items are clearly labelled for what allergens are contained. Hot and cold drinks are available. Some of the fluffiest gluten-free baked goods I’ve ever had.

I’m in Edinburgh for a few months for study abroad and already know that I’m going to end up being a regular here. I’ve tried a few different baked goods and they’ve all been amazing so far, and not too pricy when compared to GF places I frequent in the US. It’s right by my flat and super convenient. They also carry breads and pizza crusts from another small business. I’m hoping to check out some savory options soon!

Celiac heaven!! Everything is gluten free and it’s all delicious. I’ve been several times and tried so many different things. I loved the sausage rolls and small sugar coated donuts. You can’t go wrong with anything here. A must-visit when i’m Edinburgh. It’s just a quick walk from the Old Town, and you get to walk through The Meadows and see some of Edinburgh University.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Two visits in three days and I ate my body weight in the sort of brilliantly filthy, gooey cakey stuff I didn’t really think it was possible to make gluten free. Everything’s delicious, sweet and savoury, and the staff are all lovely. Very much wished I lived nearer!

I’ve been following this little shop on social media for years and finally got to visit. I was not disappointed. Several savory options for lunch. We also got Victoria sponge cake cupcakes and lemon curd blondies for later. Amazing! Wish I lived in Edinburgh!

Gorgeous bakery! My daughter's first time in a bakery where she could have anything she wanted. She was charmed. Wonderful selection of items. The three non-coeliacs in my family were just as happy! Delicious!

The most AMAZING place!! Bread, pizza bases, sandwiches, and a huge variety of cakes and cookies that are sooo tasty. Highly highly recommend and all the staff are lovely!

Absolutely heavenly. The staff couldn’t be nicer and everything is clearly marked for other allergens and I felt very safe. Highly recommend the cookie sandwich w/ frosting in the middle, it was one of the best gf desserts I’ve ever had!!
