Followed the gluten free options on the menu & still got sick an hour after eating.

I was told all sauce was gluten free. I thought it was the fries making me sick, but it turns out the sauces have soy sauce in them and ARE NOT gluten free. The people have always been great and never act like I’m a pain, but I was really disappointed to find out that the information I was given by the manager was not true.

Staff not knowledgeable at all about gf options. Couldn’t tell us which sauces were GF. Got different answers from different staff so didn’t eat any

On.Point. All of their sauces have gluten in them so pack your own buns and Sweet Baby Ray's. Delicious pulled pork sandwich (no bun) and potato salad!
Great food! Staff is knowledgeable and accommodating taking precautions/changing gloves w/o making me feel like a pain in the butt! I do wish they would consider not wrapping hot meat in plastic wrap! I cringe when I see that. At least use a wax paper barrier or something.
Love the food from Sugarfire! Always used to frequent the olivette location and they were great with gluten free and answering questions and telling me what was in the items. Called this location now that I moved out west and asked if one of the sides I saw online was gf before I drove in...the woman on the phone replied that all their items were gluten free?!? What?!? I clearly saw items I KNEW couldn't be gluten free from the Facebook page of specials that day. She then went and got someone else to help clarify...but with that first answer....they clearly lost a regular fan as they had no clue. They need to take a lesson from the Olivette location.
No
When I asked about gluten free the guy looked at me like I was speaking another language. Also would be worried about cross contamination since they didn't change gloves. Manager also said they can't guarantee gluten free on anything since they bake in store.
Great food and service!! Love the turkey!
This place was awesome! Very aware and cautious of gluten free. They changed there gloves and also got new brisket out and cut it so there was no cross contamination. This place also had amazing food!!! Went to another BBQ place in Kansas City a few weeks ago and wasn't impressed. This place met and exceeded my families expectations. Best BBQ in Missouri we have found!!! Highly recommend!
Their meat and sauces are gluten free and they change gloves and provide help in determining sides. will DEFINITELY be back. ribs were amazing!!!!
Yes
It was beyond delicious! They have lots of Gluten Free options and have them CLEARLY marked on their menu. They changed their gloves, knife and cutting board when I told them I was gluten free. Only desserts gluten free are the milkshakes. But overall it's AMAZING 👏

I mentioned being gluten free and they immediately got a new cutting board, knife, and unopened meat. They were down to their last brisket of the night and knew they had touched it after touching buns. I appreciated them letting me know and being so careful about it.

When I mentioned I had celiac the server immediately changed his gloves and got a clean knife and cutting board without my asking. There are several gluten free items on the menu. I understand many of the sauces are gluten free as well, although I ate my meat plain. All the meat is gluten free. Very tasty. No issues. Will definitely eat there again!

Zero sauces are gluten free, the ones that are not marked with gluten include soy sauce (containing gluten). Eat your meat dry! The fryer is shared, several of the sides are not safe. The only thing I was sure wasn’t going to hurt me was the chocolate peanut butter bourbon milkshake. If you feel like living dangerously, this is the place!

We are here for years and I would find myself sick often. I blamed it on the fact that I’m a big fry gal and would eat their fries even though they didn’t have a gf fryer. I found out a few months ago that though I was told all their sauces were gluten free they actually contain soy sauce and were not gluten free. 🙃 So disappointed that the information they shared with me was incorrect.
