I placed the order on line using their site, after you order you can check a box that says gluten allergy. There are also several allergies listed, I thought I would trust their ordering process, but verify how well they were able to manage gluten allergens. The girl at the counter was absolutely clueless when I asked her about the gluten free food. She was very nice but no idea, so she turned to what appeared to be a supervisor to ask if we could trust the order was GF. She said, “I have no idea.” So I began asking about the fryers etc. She said the fries were cooked in their own fryer, but all other food was cooked in the same fryer. We determined the hotdogs were okay. I ordered them and did not have a reaction. The other items had a GF option, but WERE DEFINITELY NOT GF. … one more thing, I don’t know what they use for the hot dog bun but it was excellent. It seem to be the only entree option that is GF.

They have gf burgers and hot dog buns and a separate fryer for they frys! They also make pack gf items in separate packaging. I’m celiac and have never had a bad reaction from Sullys!

Come here for 40 yrs pre-gf.. excited that now they have safe gf buns and all fries are gluten free...now once again can enjoy a safe gf dog at Castle Island and watch the planes land... separate prep area...
Changed gloves... prepped separately... marked allergy...communicated with owners pre my visit... DID not get sick and I am a very sensitive celiac.
