Ordered the GF bagel, asked lots of questions and confirmed with server that he was giving me a GF bagel. Was very, very sick later. As sick as I have ever been from gluten. I do not get sick with cross-contamination. Will not go back and would advise all celiacs to avoid.
GF items are not marked on the menu. There is a statement at the bottom that says they have a GF bagel.

Wouldn't recommend, I have cealiac and gluten allergy and was very very sick twice after eating their bagel. Understand it is not GF certified so if you're really sensitive wouldn't suggest! I don't typically have reactions to cross contamination.

Ate here twice on two separate occasions. Got really sick the first time and decided to call the store as a result. Was told I could come back in for a free meal and the manager could make sure everything was gluten free. Got even more sick the second time around, throwing up and ruining the rest of my day. Wouldn’t recommend with celiacs!

Our Millet & Flax Sourdough bagel is not made with gluten containing ingredients. Our bagels are prepared in a common kitchen & may contain traces of gluten. Customers with Celiac or gluten sensitivities should exercise judgement in consuming our sandwiches.
Got the gf sourdough and they double wrapped it to make sure there was no cross contamination. I was sick all night long. Will not be back.

I was nervous after reading comments here, however, I did not react and get sick. My sandwich was excellent!

Got very sick
I was told that the establishment had a gluten free bagel and that all the bagel toppings other than the meatball were gluten free. I believe that this is either untrue, or that the kitchen carelessly gave me a regular bagel. I am extremely sick.

I was told the new Simpsonville location could accommodate gf needs…… my currently kid barfing would say differently.

Ordered gluten free on two separate occasions, got violently ill both times. They do have a notice posted that warns they can't guarantee they are GF. I appreciate their attempt. But as a celiac I cannot frequent Steamers.

I’ve been served non-GF (despite asking for confirmation twice) and was incredibly ill about 90 minutes after my meal. Never again.

This place is not safe for people with Celiac. My wife, who has Celiac, ate one bagel and almost immediately became sick. Plus, the bagels themselves are not good.

I ate here 2 times and I should’ve known not to come back a second time. But both times I got glutened even though I ordered the gluten free bagel and told them I have celiac. I also know another celiac friend who got glutened here too. I would strongly recommend that if you have gluten allergies to avoid this place. It sucks because it did taste delicious!!!
I have celiac. I’ve eaten here probably 15 times and got sick once when they were extremely busy. If you ask them to change their gloves and clean the steamer, I never have issues. If they are really busy, it might be best to stay away.
This place is not gluten free! Food is absolutely amazing if you don't have a gluten allergy!
Food is delicious. However, I've gotten sick every time I've eaten here. Wouldn't recommend for celiac or if you're gluten sensitive.

Love this place and so accommodating

I absolutely lovvvve this place!!!! You can't tell that the bagels are gf bc of how the prepare them. They have a separate toaster for gf bagels!!!
Two gluten free options in bagels. Very very happy. I eat here frequently with no issues. (Celiacs)
Amazing gluten free bagels. They taste just like regular bagels. I like the California & the tiger paw. Eaten here twice, no side effects.
Awesome gluten free breakfast option! They have sourdough bagels that are GF.
Very tasty and staff was super friendly!
So sorry to say this but they are not celiac safe. I bought a bag of the sourdough bagels and brought them home. I did this because I was scared of cross contamination. So I ate the bagel later, and I really enjoyed the taste. But, I woke up at 2 and had a reaction to the bagels. I went later checked the package and it says "contains traces of gluten, wheat, and yeast" even though the ingredients are gluten free. We called the bakery that makes the bagels, and they said that they are definitely not celiac safe. But I'm sure it's fine for gluten intolerant people.

Love the sourdough GF bagel! I am seriously impressed will be frequenting this establishment!
These steamed bagel sandwiches are the best! There are usually two GF bagel choices for any of the sandwiches on the regular menu. Great for kids, too. I go whenever I have a chance.
