Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The staff was very knowledgeable about what was safe with a gluten allergy. I had a FRIED chicken breast sandwich on a GF bun and it was fantastic. Sadly the French fries were cross contaminated.

Ate here for brunch today and my waitress was knowledgeable about Celiac. She informed me that they take precautions to avoid cross contamination and my food came out with an allergy flag. They have a dedicated GF fryer and I had their truffle fries which were DELICIOUS. I also got the Veggie Hash! I did not get sick and would definitely come back.

I had such high hopes of this restaurant. Unfortunately my Nima sensor came back “gluten found”. They informed me that they had a gluten free dedicated fryer. I ordered the chicken sandwich.

I have eaten at Summer House many times and never gotten sick. We even decided to hold our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and the event staff was super helpful and communicative about crafting a menu that included safe options for me. While the menu does not mark which items are gluten free, nearly everything can be prepared gluten free. I can eat the Parmesan truffle fries because there’s a dedicated gluten free fryer, and the Brussels sprout salad is delicious!

What a great discovery. Delicious and safe. No gf menu but almost everything can be gf including fried calamari, truffle fries (dedicated fryer), pizza, pasta etc. we had house chips and guac which was delicious, the calamari, a Cobb salad and the southwest salad as well as a burger which was beautifully done. Sorry i forget pictures but everything is instagram ready- gorgeous.

Almost everything on the menu is already gluten free or can be modified. They can sub GF buns/bread on the sandwiches. Fries are good as well - fryer is GF. Good food, great service.

Promptly seated when we asked about gluten options waiter was able to point us on the right direction. Almost all the menu can easily be made gluten free and the waiter explained the allergy protocol as that are put into place. Including chefs signing off and allergy sticks.

We were informed that the GF pancakes are cooked on the same surface as the regular pancakes. They did accommodate our request to use a separate pan - but you need to ask! They were very nice, we were surprised to hear about the cooking surface as previously we were told separate surfaces/utensils were policy. Have eaten here a few times without any issues.

Menu items were marked gluten free. The server said that they take very good precautions, and when she couldn’t answer my questions, she went to the chef. Manager delivered all of my food, which was clearly marked “allergy”. The food tasted delicious. Unfortunately, I was really sick within a few hours of eating.

I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I had a reaction after eating here. I told the staff that I had Celiac and my food was marked with an "allergy" toothpick. I suspect it was an accidental cross contamination issue.

Whoever is handling your food will change gloves, clean the workstation, grill, etc., and use clean utensils.

I had a delicious grilled salmon with roasted potatoes. Nice sized portion, finished it with no leftovers.

Wonderful ambience. Ate outside because of COVID, but it was lovely. The staff are sanitizing all the tables between customers, wearing gloves and masks, and keeping the tables at least 6 feet apart.

Great restaurant-- both for adult outings and family brunch with little kids. I regularly make the 30+ minute drive to eat here because they are both great about celiac and have options to please everyone else. Highly recommend the mexican hashbrowns, fries are in dedicated fryer, delicious cookies, pancakes, etc.

The gluten free menu is a little outdated but there were a lot of options and the staff was very helpful. When my first two choices ended up unavailable, they recommended another based on what I was in the mood for and comped my meal as an apology for the inconvenience. I had the watermelon tuna appetizer and it was fantastic.

The staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating! My girlfriends and I ordered 3 GF items: cinnamon roll, hash brown Benedict, and blueberry pancakes. All were delicious and I didn’t have any symptoms afterwards. Highly recommend!

When looking for brunch places in the area with a good gluten free menu, I couldn't find nearly any! But then I stumbled upon this AWESOME restaurant in Bethesda. For the first time in a long time, I had eggs Benedict! So delicious! And I didn't get sick at all! They also have amazing gf choco chip cookies! I haven't been back again for lunch, but I plan on returning soon!
