Summer House on the Lake

Had a 2pm reservation and managed to snag a prime seat overlooking the lake! That was the only good part of the experience, unfortunately. The waitress was inattentive, one dish came out with ingredients not listed on menu that my husband can’t eat (who the heck puts cucumber on tacos??), the margarita pizza had a laughable amount of mozzarella on it, and there are no words for how disgraceful my chicken sandwich was. The dream puffs were also too hard, otherwise I would have just eaten those. The pictures speak for themselves. The tacos ended up being bland, pizza gross and the fried chicken tasted like old oil. After all of that, I became ill before we could pay the bill and definitely had some cross contamination despite being assured multiple times of their strict kitchen protocols. Don’t waste your money here.

Absolutely amazing! All staff were very knowledgable on GF and cross contamination. I was able to have the fried chicken and fries (dedicated fryer). It was delicious.

We were told that everything on the menu except the jalapeño cornbread and meatballs could be made GF or were already GF. Loved watching my daughter dig into truffle fries and fried chicken without a care in the world!

AMAZING! Our server Brittney was so kind and knowledgeable about everything and said most of the menu can be gf… the salad (house) was so fresh and the ahi tuna (If you’re a tuna tartare fan) is a MUST… delicious! And the gf cookie at the end is a nice finish… with the expresso martini ;) (great drinks) will be coming back! And no up charge for being gf

Amazing atmosphere! Waitress was very knowledgeable about what could be made celiac and what would be safe. Got the guac/chips and truffle fries. Amazing, so good! Will absolutely come again and recommend!

Had a great brunch! When we checked in we let them know we had allergies and they said most of the menu can be made GF. They have dedicated fryers and kitchen spaces. We let our server know and they marked our allergies when they put the order in. Everything was marked when it came out, and the food was fantastic! I had no signs of being glutened after. I had the Mexican Hash Browns

Excellent. When we arrived, we were sat quickly. The server came to take our order and we informed him of the gluten allergy. He informed us there are only three things on the menu that cannot be made GF. The meatballs, the cornbread and the salad toppers. We were also informed they have a separate fryer and can make anything on the menu GF. We ordered the truffle fries (a must have) and the fresh guacamole (another must have). Both came out with allergy stakes. The guacamole was definitely fresh and kept its green color the entire time we ate. We ordered the prime cheeseburger with a GF bun and without anything on top. It was juicy. The service was good. The food and atmosphere were good. Worth the money for sure.

On a side note, if you can, bring cash for a tip. We were informed the company only tips out the servers once every two weeks so the company is holding servers tips that come in on a credit card. They do not get tipped out at the end of the night unless they receive cash.

I had an AMAZING experience here. Our waiter was helpful, knowledgeable, and explained my options from the get-go. Told me to avoid pizza because of definite cross contamination. They have a designated fryer, so practically the whole menu can be made gluten free. We had the dream puffs, guacamole, and carne asada tacos. I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Orlando!

Amazing food. Almost the entire menu can me made Gluten free. The do have dedicated friers. Please try the truffle fries, the artichoke and the dream puff bread.

WOW. Pretty much everything on the menu is already GF or modifiable. Dedicated fryer for fries. Also have GF chicken tenders that are out of this world. Gluten free brownie and cookie in the bakery side.

I think there was only 2-3 items they could not be made GF which was the corn bread, meatballs and a couple salad toppers (croutons and wonton strips, but would sub corn strips instead of these)

As celiac felt incredibly safe and the servers were extremely knowledgeable being a non Disney chain restaurant and just recently opened.
