Sumo Japanese Restaurant

I ordered the house fried rice. She said they would make it with gluten free soy sauce. She did say their white sauce (that you normally get with hibachi) isn’t gluten free. Other than that, I can’t tell how well they are with taking precautions but I did not get sick. Their hibachi tables are currently shut down and they do all the cooking in the kitchen right now. The fried rice was good.

I have eaten takeout 2x and dined in once. They are open. Had the chicken fried rice the second time getting food here. They say they make the gf sauce. It tastes so good. I did get sick after eating. I don’t trust not seeing them take precautions first hand like on the grill, which was not open. There may have been a language barrier because when I would ask questions about making sure my food did not touch gluten/ that it was a clean pan the lady would say yes without much elaboration. The first time I had hibachi scallops and chicken and fried rice and it was amazing and I was not sick.
