I stumbled upon this bakery while walking to NoDa. I Ordered a GF Cran orange scone but noticed they packaged a different scone. Apparently the signs were not accurate for their baked products. They assured me it was GF. I did eat the scone and did not get sick but there is definitely a concern about cross contamination and whether they understand their responsibility when making and labeling and displaying GF, vegan and non dairy foods. I also realized I should have looked at the reviews on this app before I ordered because your observations were spot on. Thank you!

I’m not celiac so can’t speak to that. Seems to advertise GF food but often there is just one gross thing. No options to have sandwiches made GF. Tea is way overpriced, $4.25.

I have ordered GF donuts, cupcakes, and muffins from the Dilworth location and felt okay, even though I worried about cross-contamination. But when I ordered GF donuts online at this location, they called to say they were out of donuts and offered to replace them with chocolate chip scones, which they said were GF. I should have been suspicious when I saw the scones were sitting right on top of a sandwich I had ordered for another family member, not wrapped in anything. I felt almost immediately sick, either from cross contamination or, as another reviewer noted, from these scones not actually being GF. They don’t list their ingredients anywhere, so it’s difficult to know for sure. On top of that, the scone was terrible, overly sweet and too crumbly. I’m still having symptoms days later. *Edit: I submitted a complaint through Sunflour’s website, and they apologized and offered to refund my entire order.*

Straight up sold desserts that were labeled specifically GF, that were NOT. They only had 3 left when they realized (after I asked the baker about a different allergen) that the whole tray was mislabeled.

Not that good. Limited gluten free options. The gluten free cupcake I got made me sick.

Not Celiac but fairly sensitive to cross-contamination. Staff spoke to kitchen processes well, mentioning of course that there are no guarantees when gluten is around. I ordered chia pudding and macaroon, noting they were not located in the display case near gluten. Nonetheless, I ended up very sick. Disappointing.

I ordered a raspberry cheesecake that I saw in the case and when I got to the counter, she handed me something different - like different shape and everything. I asked if this was really the GF version and she said yes. I asked her to come around to the front with me and look at the sign and the cheesecake sitting under it. She was annoyed, but did it and sure enough, I was given the wrong thing. That said, the cheesecake was delicious and I would get it again.

Delicious gluten free cupcakes and flourless chocolate cake! Not many other options besides macaroons. Highly recommend
