This place is all vegan and gluten free EXCEPT they do offer wheat buns for the sandwiches, but the default is the gf focaccia (it was very good, it didn’t crumble apart). They reassured me that they prepare the wheat buns separately from the focaccia but they still want to know if you have an allergy or not and they’ll mark it. I had the chickpea chicken salad sandwich, it was great!

They also have quite a selection of baked goods, mainly cupcakes. The funfetti cupcake was really good. The blueberry muffin was good but a little dense. I was not a fan of the chocolate brownie as it was trying to be fudgy but it was just too thick and almost chalky.

Thought our breakfast biscuits were bland didn’t finish. This places is over price for what it is. Pros-they have a variety of gf bake goods and Staff was friendly. Maybe it’s just what we had but we were left unimpressed.

Not sure how confident I feel in this place. I’ve eaten the food here before and been fine but be aware that this is not a dedicated GF bakery/facility. Additionally, we ordered catering from there noting the host has celiac and they seemed to disregard that for the food and only brought GF desserts; brought wraps/wheat pita bread in several containers. Likely won’t be ordering from them again even as such

I am absolutely obsessed with this place. They have amazing blueberry, muffins, cupcakes, scones, cookies, and brownies. It is also one of the only places that I found that has gluten-free biscuits and gravy. Their coffees are OK in my opinion I really love their sandwiches as well they have a gluten-free focaccia bread, that is so good and doesn’t fall apart

Adults loved the meals! Kids not so much because it is vegan - no meat - but it is amazing!! Tblt was so good! The meatball sub was great. Burgers were good. Pickled veggies good.

The absolute best GF baked goods I have ever bought!! I had the carrot cake and blueberry muffins as well as german chocolate cake. They were all extremely moist, which is not unusually the case with gf baked goods. The german chocolate was my favorite because the topping was especially delicious. Don’t skip this place, it is worth the trip.

Nice spot for some GF baked goods near the greenway/river. They seem to have non-GF bread options for sandwiches and only be exclusively vegan. All the baked goods are GF. None are incredible which is expected when they're also vegan but there's a wide selection and I'd absolutely come back when in the area.

Ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy, and french toast bake. The french toast bake was ok, nothing special. The gravy was very thin, almost soup-like. It should have been served with a soup spoon. It had a very stong flavor of vegan sausage, which was expected, but if you don't enjoy that flavor, this may not be the dish for you. The items in the bakery cases looked delicious, and in hindsight we probably should have just gotten something from those selections. If we ever visit this place again, it would be for bakery items only, but we aren't vegan and don't really care for the taste of vegan meat substitutes. The only reason I wanted to eat here was the gravy and biscuits, and I ended up disappointed.

Stopped by one evening around dinner to grab some baked goods for the hotel. They had banana nut muffins and one blueberry, but decided just to split the blueberry since they are so big. We each got a cupcake too.

Everything looks really good and fresh, but I didn’t really feel like the flavors of the day spoke to me. I started to get a cookie but chose the cupcake. I’ll try that next time.

I felt like the texture was a little off (both items) but it wasn’t bad, just not what I’m used to. We have to come to Nashville fairly frequently so I imagine we will try it again. Can’t beat a safe place to go to!

Don’t confuse this place with Sunflower Cafe - not much is GF there. At Sunflower Bakehouse, they only bake GF, so I feel safe eating here. I have been 5 times! Staff seems allergy aware. It would be VERY easy for them to be dedicated GF. The best cupcakes are lemon and cookies & cream! I will say they could use stand to add more side options and/or a bigger variety of chips.

OMG, this place is amazing! I was in Nashville for a last minute visit, with my vegan friend, and found them through this app. It seemed perfect for us both, and we were not disappointed at all. It's very close to the airport, which is where we were staying. Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly! I had a Diner burger - on a gf/v PRETZEL bun! It was sooo yummy. We loved it so much we also ordered more to take back to the hotel to munch on basically the rest of the weekend. They have local kombucha on tap and you can mix the flavors. We got a german chocolate upsidedown cake to share, as it was huge - it was so tasty and not heavy or overly sweet at all, just delicious. We did return the next night and the staff remembered us lol. They said Saturday morning had been busy busy, but it wasn't crowded in the evening, they were just out of some items. Cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you have multiple allergies or restrictions - you will find yourself asking them, are you SURE this is gf?! If there is something you want badly you can check/order online to be sure they don't run out before you get there. Everything we tried was delicious and safe to eat.

You can stop searching, this is the place to go! I feel so incredibly safe eating here and the food actually tastes GOOD! They are VERY knowledgeable on not only all things gluten free, but they are also great for people with other allergies. Nobody could believe the pot pie I was eating was gluten free AND vegan (I got a few meat eaters to taste it and they still didn’t believe me). Same for the cupcakes and parfaits. The baked goods are also pretty big, so you can definitely easily share. 10/10, no notes, amazing!!!

Wow. Based on all the positive reviews I had high hopes for this place. My friends and I drove way out of our way to go here, and to say the food was disappointing is an understatement.

Not only did the food expensive & taste bad, we all started feeling weird on the drive back. Once we got home, literally everyone ran to the bathroom, including my 3 non-GF friends. All 4 of us ate different things, so I don't believe it was food poisoning.

I can tell it wasn't a gluten reaction, so I will mark this as safe. But the food was so bad, I cannot recommend this place.

Although they do have wheat bread available at request with select breakfast items, the bread is purchased and stored in the back in a separate area away from all the gluten free.
