We eat here a lot and either don’t bring our celiac daughter, or pack her own food. After reading reviews about the GF bun and burger we tried it last night. The server was very knowledgeable and as soon as I mentioned celiac she started talking about CC and how she would ensure the kitchen could take measures to eliminate any risks before confirming our order. She came back and told us the burger, bun, and cheese (Jack I think) as well as the mixed fruit (for her side) were safe. My daughter LOVED the giant beautiful burger and ate the fruit without any reaction. I think we got lucky with the server but will likely go back and order the meal again.

We went here safely for years- my extremely sensitive celiac daughter was able to eat a burger with no bun. Sadly she recently ordered the fish tacos and got very sick. Not sure exactly what happened, but sad to take sunnyside off our list.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
I am super sensitive. I had the burger and beet/strawberry salad and was 100% fine. Burger is not marked as gluten free on the menu, but they have gf buns. Secret sauce was fine. Super accommodating and helpful.

We decided on this restaurant after seeing they had a gluten free menu. Menu has gluten free options but a footnote that warns about cross contamination in the kitchen. Should have left then but since we were already seated and we were a large group we decided to stay.
Food is delicious. My dad had the beef and since he is also allergic to dairy he got french fries instead of the mashed potatoes. Unfortunately he got really sick.
Rude waiter. Got sick. NOT a clean fryer. GF menu is inaccurate. Be ware.

one of our favorites for a nice meal out. plenty of gluten free options and the elk is incredible.

I had a very good experience at Sunnyside Restaurant and Lodge. My server said just about any item in the menu could made gluten free aside from the obviously not gluten free ones. She recommended the Elk Strip with arugala and potato gratin. It was very good. I felt very safe when she mentioned cross contamination before I even had a chance to ask about it.

I had a wonderful Halibut dish. The waiter was very knowledgeable and let me know that they would be careful with cross contamination. amazing view too! Small menu but better than some other local choices.

Dedicated gf menu, dairy free menu and nut free menu. Pretty impressive but not a lot of options if you are vegetarian or vegan. Ended up getting the chopped salad and substituted the steak medallions for chicken. Salad was really good! And view was unbelievable. Will definitely be back!
The gluten free menu is a joke. And we still had cross contamination.
