I wanted to love it but my waffle wasn’t cooked all the way through and was a gummy mess. I also wish they had real maple syrup even if was at an extra cost. Lots of fun options for gf items. Appreciate the precautions they take to ensure safety. Nice to have another safe option locally, so may try again.

Great little place. Menu is very clear about what is not gf and the staff are knowledgeable. They use a separate waffle iron for gf waffles. Opted for a plain waffle with syrup and it was great - fluffy, crunchy edges (in a good way) and not gritty or grainy. Did not get sick. Food came out separate from others with a GF/V flag.

I went to Superior Waffles during a visit to Duluth and will definitely be back! There were lots of great options for celiacs. The staff members were able to answer my questions and they were knowledgeable. They have a protocol for gf food to avoid cross contact. This is a must-see if you’re in Duluth or Superior!

Stopped by at Superior Waffles on our way back from the north shore and had a great meal! Lots of options to make a fun GF waffle for my celiac kiddo. They have a cross contamination protocol in place. We sat on their back patio with our dog which was extra helpful. Just a short detour from Duluth. Will be back!

Amazing waffles!! Felt very safe eating here as they prepare the GF waffles in a separate area with clean ingredients/utensils. I recommend the cheesecake waffles without the cheesecake crumbles (not GF)

My wife and I ordered two waffles (banana bliss and a strawberry waffle with real Maple syrup) which were delicious! The owner talked about how they use a separate waffle iron, prep area, utensils and glove station to ensure a safe experience!

The waffles were great, crispy but not overdone, and loaded with tasty toppings. Service was quick and everyone was incredibly kind and polite. We will be returning on our next visit to the area.

Very fun menu! I would like to return again with a bigger appetite! I had a simple waffle with strawberries, blueberries, powdered sugar and a little syrup. It really didn't need much to make it tasty!

It was nice to have a breakfast waffle I could eat while traveling. My waffle wasn’t completely cooked through and wasn’t the best GF waffle I’ve had but it was decent. I had the strawberry and whip cream waffle and I wish I would have added maple syrup on the side as it needed more at the end. I would go back with kids. I didn’t get sick and would trust it again.

We use a dedicated waffle iron for the batter which is both gluten friendly and vegan. We use separate utensils & change our gloves before making the GF/V. The batter is gluten free but our kitchen is not. We do everything we can to prevent cross contamination.
