Surfside Burger Shack

Got a burger and fries after confirming they had GF buns and a separate fryer. Unfortunately I got glutened here and have been sick for the past 12 hours. The staff was super nice, the food came quickly, and the burger was delicious. Just wish it hadn’t made me sick.

Wow these burgers were amazing! One of the best gluten free buns I’ve ever had. The fries weee amazing too, but I couldn’t get the chili cheese fries because they weren’t sure if the chili had gluten. Dedicated fryer confirmed.

Amazing! The best French fries I’ve had in a long time. The bun was average but the burger itself was awesome too. Can confirm dedicated fryer Sept 2023.

While the staff were super nice when I said I have a gluten allergy and asked if they could make any food safely on the grill she said they just had gf buns. I got food my kids but to be safe I went elsewhere.

Fantastic burger and selection! Dedicated fryer so no worries there.

The gluten free bun looked SUSPICIOUSLY good. They assured us it was the gluten free bun even though it looked just like the regular and they were right! So many buns are smaller or just not that good.. but theirs were amazing and big!

Didn’t get sick! Honestly think it’s the Best burger you can get around with celiac.

Tons of GF options here and the food really is amazing! I eat here all the time and never get sick. They are right off of 101 so it's a nice stop if you are passing through.

One of the best gluten free buns I have had. Burger was cooked perfectly and put together nicely and tasted great. Fries were good and fresh. The amount of fries was almost too many for my wife and I to split, so the helpings are generous.

I highly recommend to anyone craving a good burger, especially if you need it gluten free.

The four of us ordered various different burgers, and all were really good! Loved having garlic fries! A treat for the celiac in our family since they have a dedicated fryer.

They have a separate kitchen space, a separate fryer, and they know about crumb contamination. Kitchen space is small and busy so I always make sure to specify they use clean utensils but I haven't had a problem in the ~5 times I've ordered here. The woman who answers the phone when I call says that her boyfriend has Celiac, and every time I come to pick up she asks me if I'm excited that I get to eat a burger <3
