I was able to look at their menu ahead of time to see if they have non-tempura options, which they did. I called ahead of time as well, but there was a little bit of a language barrier so the staff did not understand my questions about gluten or anything like that.
I had the Cougar burrito, which has not caused any issues for me up to this point. Very good taste.

I always get the Himachi with no sauce. They are careful to wash their hands thoroughly before handling my food, and make sure to put a barrier between my stuff and the counter. My service dog has never alerted to their food and I’m super sensitive and have never gotten sick.
I have never asked about the fried stuff but most of the menu can be modified if you ask and several appetizers are already GF
I also have a bad peanut allergy and they’re super careful about that as well. Have never gotten sick from that either.
