Wanted to put a review in since this place just opened and it’s sushi, which is usually a safe bet, that it’s unfortunately not celiac safe. They are knowledgable about what components of each roll contain gluten, but not about cross-contamination.

Everything is prepared on the same, small stone slab that they wipe off with the same towel in between each course. They only have one set of utensils for each ingredient. They don’t change their gloves. They repeatedly touched the ingredient that contained gluten and then handled my gluten-free portion. We were seated at the sushi bar, so I was able to see all this as it was happening. It didn’t feel like there was a way to eat here safely without teaching them about cross-contact and then asking that they overhaul their entire system.

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?
