Delish! I got the daily special. Flavorful and a huge portion. Very good. Will be back. Almost everything is GF. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful when ordering. Did not get sick.

It's a GF option, but was such boring sushi. Other than the spicey sauce there werent any other sauces or garnishes. The Spam Musabi was the best thing we got and was $5! Three rolls and Musabi was $60 and we threw half of it away. I honestly would pass unless you just want a basic roll with GF soy sauce.

Lady/Owner working was one the kindest people ever. She immediately knew what celiac was and explained special rolls she could make for me. She remembered who I was the second time I came. I got the Ginger Roll and they have gluten free soy sauce! Also the rolls were beautiful! Defiantly go here!

You already know that this is the spot for my celiac girlies! Everything was so 🤤. We got a sushi burrito, spam musubi, poke bowl, and crabby roll over two separate visits. The whole menu is gluten free. I’d recommend ordering ahead as it can get busy.

Great spot. All the sushi out of this stand is gluten free. They also offer gluten free soy sauce. Be careful to get the gluten free soy sauce packets. They also have glutenous soy soy sauce packets.

Dedicated GF sushi (including all the sauces). Had the sushi burrito and my wife had a sushi roll. It was very fresh tasting and delicious. A 100% non-negotiable must-go for celiacs as there aren’t a ton of super safe options in the area. It feels amazing to eat a meal without explaining your needs to a waiter then hoping for the best.

So good. We tried lots on the menu and it was all good. They made sure we got the gf soy sauce packets, but other than that everything else was gf and safe for our 5 celiacs.

Awesome sushi and poke and everything is gluten free so no cross contamination fears.

Sushi was delicious and the rolls are large. Fish is very fresh. They can also do any menu item vegan style. My husband (who’s not celiac) had the poke bowl and loved it.

I highly recommend Sushi Girl!

All things are gluten free. Amazingly good. The pokes are phenomenal. The Miso is also GF and best ever. You can order to go or eat at tables nearby. Tue sushi boritoes are great!

It was a cute place to eat. There aren't many dedicated-gf on the island, let alone the state, so it was nice to have an option. We got the veggin' out, sushi garden and miso soup.

In all honesty, I saw that they were adding water to make the soup, possibly from a dried packet. Also, they were rude on the phone when I asked a few questions. Otherwise, the other two dishes we ate were good. A bit pricey in my book though for four items, but it's expected.

Entire menu is gluten free and they even have Gf to-go soy packets. This is a walk up food stand set up with outdoor seating by a lot of other restaurants. Good place if you are with non gf folk who want something else to eat.

Food was just ok, however. Sushi burrito was fun but sushi rolls left a lot to be desired.

Such a wonderful treat to get amazingly fresh fish, prepared fantastically in a dedicated facility! I missed Hawaiian fish desperately (it's the best in the world, imo), and this let me experience it again. I'm a very grateful celiac!

This place is wonderful. The Ha’ena bowl is absolutely delicious, and the staff are very knowledgeable. Fresh, flavorful and safe food. One thing to note, though - the location given here and on Maps is outdated. Sushi Girl is now located in the Kong Lung marketplace of Kilauea.

It's not fast but they make your order fresh. It is delicious. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything is gluten free but their seaweed salad. You might miss it because it's literally on the side of the road next to Waihine General Store before Haena Beach. Worth the stop!

We were 15 minutes past this spot, when we finally got cell phone reception to search for dinner. Made the decision to turn around go back where we had come from this place and it was absolutely worth it! Delicious! As a Celiac who also cares about where my food comes from and what's in my food, this place is top notch. Gluten free facility. Add to it that the general store in the same building had kombutcha on tap, and my head nearly exploded. Loved it!!!

My favorite place on the island. LOVED IT!!!! Everything is gluten free! Some of the best sushi I have ever had. Some people around me got sushi burritos that looked super good too. I wanted to go here again, but when on my last day :( Definitely go here! They have an all veggie sushi roll that doesn't have fish if that is something you are into instead. Everything is wonderful!
