Both staff we talked to were very clear about what menu items were GF and which could easily be made GF. They even brought GF sauce to the table for us. Food was good and no reactions!

Great for dine in or takeout! They have gluten free soy sauce available. Have eaten here several times without issue.

The first person we spoke to was not at all knowledgeable and was really confused but we talked to a different server who was great with navigating the menu and changing any fake crab to real crab, leaving off ponzu sauce and sweet eel sauce which both have gluten. The wasabi is GF and they have GF soy sauce. The rice is with rice vinegar, no malt, so it’s fine. The server also went back to specifically ensure they took extra allergen precautions against cross contact. Nothing on the menu is labeled but almost anything without tempura can be made GF. I’m glad we went in person to work it out but it went well and was delicious and I felt great afterwards.

The staff was knowledgeable and there were plenty of items on the menu that could be made GF. Our server was helpful in helping us navigate the menu and find GF options. We really enjoyed the Rainbow Roll!

Wow 🤩 the sushi 🍣 is AMAZING here! Definitely get the pickled vegetables appetizer if you like mushrooms. Great service the waitress knew which rolls could be made gluten free.
Huge menu to choose from. I’m planning to go back over and over.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Server was very knowledgeable and there were lots of things that could be altered to be gf if they weren’t already.

Best sushi in Olympia. The sashimi and nigiri are always fresh and delicious. No gluten free menu, but many of the rolls can be altered to be made gluten free. Hamachi jalapeno is my favorite. Talk to the server and they will make sure your food is safe.

It's celiac friendly if you tell them to make sure it's gluten free
Food quality and service were wonderful. Still had a reaction unfortunately despite asking that precautions be taken. Can’t recommend this one to celiac folks.

I have celiac disease and they were amazingly accommodating. Not only was the food great, the waitress was super knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t gf on the menu, and when she wasn’t, she was more than willing to check with the chef. She brought me my own gluten free soy sauce to the table and helped me get what I wanted while having it still be gluten free and cross contamination safe. I asked her to ask the sushi chef to change gloves and knives for mine and she was super understanding. I ordered the Olympia roll and salmon sashimi, without the sauce, since the wasabi is not gluten free. Overall, this place was amazing and it is rare to find such good and accommodating sushi places.
Yes
I ordered a philly roll and a tuna roll after telling them I had a severe gluten allergy. I noticed after eating a piece of the philly roll that they put bread crumbs around the cream cheese (it wasn't immediately visible because it was the same color). They told me that both things I ordered were gluten free. Clearly they weren't.

Staff are knowledgeable. The imitation crab has gluten, but they are happy to sub it for real crab which is gluten free for $2. They have gluten free soy sauce for the table if you request it. All of their eel is packaged in soy sauce which is not gluten free, so stay away from that on the menu. Great place. Large rolls. Kind staff.
