Review

I got glutened from the gluten free menu after disclosing my “allergy” (celiac). I wish I read the reviews here first, but I had been to the Poway location before and after talking to them about my sensitivity, they used rice crispies on top of the sushi that had not been in a shared fryer - think that crispy rice cereal kind of crushed up. I had been fine and appreciated the option for some texture so I went to the Point Loma location, got the gf menu, told them about my allergy and ordered the roll with the crisped rice on top. I was starving so I guzzled it down but noted that it didn’t seem the same as at the Poway location. Sure enough I’m throwing up the next day and see all the reviews on here about the shared fryer that they didn’t warn me about. They brought Tamari out for me and if I had avoided that roll, I think I would have been fine but it really shouldn’t be on the gf menu.
