Staff was very rude, told me that rice is not gluten free and no sushi can ever be made gluten free because it has rice in it. WTF?
No gluten free menu but waiters were very understanding and they had many options to choose from. Omakase sushi was excellent and they served mine without sauce, and brought a soy sauce bottle labeled “gluten free”. I also ate several fried items without checking if they had separate fryers, but I didn’t get sick! (I’m usually very sensitive) It may be because we were there right as they opened. Should check with them next time. Desserts were all gluten free. We had green tea ice cream, salted caramel ice cream and panna cotta. All so delicious.
