Good food. Very knowledgeable about celiac/gf. Had gf soy sauce. Great service. Very pricey though.

Servers aren’t familiar with a lot of gluten free options - I got glutened here even though I double checked with the server.

We ate here about a week ago and it was so nice to have sushi. Lots of sushi places just don't know what to do as far as cross contamination (or at least in my experience).
I told the server I had celiac and he pointed me in the right direction. They had a GF menu and he told me he would let them know it was celiac and not a preference. I had the spicy tuna handroll and another roll - can't remember which one. All was delicious. They have tamari.
I ate until I couldn't eat anymore and didn't have any issues.
Delicious food. Seperate menu. Gave me Tamari soy sauce. Service average, and super pricey.
I was extremely ill for 48 hours afterwards. Glutened. They may have gf options but their servers are incompetent and not trained in what's actually gluten free and what's not.
Our favorite spot! My girlfriend has celiac and we have never had a problem at Roku. The servers are amazing as well as the managers. One tip...Like most people when eating sushi, we tend to order slowly and have several courses. So you may want to be vigilant and remind your server “gluten free”. There’s a lot of moving parts to a large sushi restaurant and sometimes things can get overlooked. But if you’re just sticking to simple sushi you can’t go wrong at Roku!! Oh...and don’t drink the Echigo gluten free beer if you’re celiac. It has trace amounts of gluten.

Wow. Safe sushi served by knowledgeable servers with thoughtfulness and high quality. Very happy to have eaten here and look forward to returning. They clearly understood celiac and which dishes were okay or not (even pointing out issues with items on GF menu). Very happy I ate here. I’m a sensitive celiac and felt great next day. By the way, Sushi Roku is a different restaurant than Robata Bar, right next door and at the same address and owned by same company (confusingly). But it is a completely different restaurant.

The staff seemed knowledgeable and I thought I was safe - but I got sick. The sushi was sooo freaking good though.

I called in ahead of time to ask if they had many gluten-free options, and they said yes, and went on to kind of explain what they could and couldn't do.So that already made me feel good.I went in there and I had a great experience.I ordered a bunch of nigiri and some rolls. The bartender even double checked with the kitchen when one of the rolls came out. I had zero reactions and the sushi was very high quality.I would100% come back here again

Most heavenly sushi ever. Tuna jalapeño is to die for. Get 2! They are so knowledgeable about GF. Wasabi and ginger are both okay. Wish we lived closer.

I have ordered out from here multiple times now and never gotten sick. We also had a date night here, and when the runner was bringing my roll, he looked down and saw I had a gluten allergy and told us he wanted to double check that an item that he saw on the roll was GF. Turns out that it wasn’t and they made me a new roll, and he saved me from a gluten exposure. I was so grateful!

We have eaten there twice now. I have rarely been more impressed with server-knowledge of gluten, ingredients of menu items, and how to address the concerns. (Two different servers.) The place is a little loud and gets very crowded, so a reservation is recommended. They have delicious sushi and specialty rolls and a lovely specialty cocktail menu. Trust in your server and you’ll have an amazing meal! This place is good for a special occasion.
